How do you remove Spray Sunscreen from plastic shelving?
It is hot and humid in my bathroom during the summer and an aerosol can of spray sunscreen leaked all throughout my medicine cabinet with plastic shelving. It created an adhesive like substance that I cannot remove. I have tried baking soda, and a myriad of cleansers but nothing works...help!
You could try Brake Cleaner fluid from any car accessory shop.

Try using ammonia. I have found that straight ammonia (not the diluted stuff in Windex/glass cleaners) strips anything sticky off of any surface. My husband smokes inside sometimes, and it takes the tar right off of everything without any scrubbing. It's a good all-around cleaner, but don't use it on wood or anything painted, etc. Also, NEVER mix it with bleach as this is how mustard gas is created. You can buy ammonia in any Wal-Mart or grocery store. If that doesn't work, try some WD-40 which claims to remove anything sticky/tacky.
Try using a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. I've used them to get rid of lots of sticky stuff. You won't have to breathe in chemical fumes, either.
I want to know what is the best type of paint to a plastic shelving unit and a metal shelving unit .....?
I plan to paint both shelving units white to match my decor and the metal shelving unit is gray and the plastic one has black shelves and gray supports. I really don't want to do a primer and I need to know what type of brush to paint with so I won't have visible brush strokes. Detailed answers will be greatly appreciated and will obviously get 10 points for best answer :)
If you don't want visible brush strokes, your best bet is to spray them. There is a spray paint called Krylon Fusion that works great. It's specially designed for painting plastic, but, it will work on your metal shelf as well.
Tyring to find ventilated wood shelving unit?
I am trying to find a wood shelving unit and having a hard time. I need one about 34" w x 70" h x 12" d, natural solid pine, ventilated. Basically, one very similar to the common plastic garage storage shelves, but in solid pine.
Any idea?

I am looking for wire shelving,I like the wire shelves used in restaurants,but I am also looking for some smaller wire shelves which are composed of flat wire grids,held togather by round plastic fasteners,using pressure holder,a these used to be sold in university book stores,usually white or black.I can't find them any more,please help.

Where can I find those plastic twist ties that come with dolls/toys?
I am needing some hard plastic twist ties (that come in the packaged doll/toy to hold the doll/toy in the box when it is on the shelve in the store) because I accidenty threw them out and I would like to by a few extra ties to put the (doll in my case) back in the box to protect it.
try using some bread ties. they're very simular.
