Shelving unit can be used for the garden too.
I am disabled and love to garden. When I plant seeds in the seed flats I need to do it in the garage and then take them outside in the daytime and back in at night...The Seville Classic SHE18370B will hold 17 flats of seeds and I can easily wheel it out and in as needed. I LOVE it and could not plant my own seeds rather than using bought plants without it.
It was very easy to assemble (by two senior citizen women) and is very, very sturdy and strong. It could be used in the home, in a business or as I do for gardening!

Great Shelving System

Great!
This is an excellent shelf. It went together very easy and does what it says. I have it loaded up with can goods and dog food in the pantry and it is very sturdy. I would recommend for anyone. Plus the wheel work great. I have to move it side to side to grab things and it moves very easy!

Shelving
Purchased 3 of the shelving units. One for the Kitchen and 2 for garage. Beautiful! Easy to put together, tho, you do need the suggested rubber mallet, or at least a hammer with rag to cushion.
Quite happy with them! Would purchase more if I had room for more!

Sturdy & easy to assemble
I was looking for additional storage in my garage, so I decided to try this shelving system. It arrived fast (at no extra charge) and was easy to assemble. (less than 20 minutes). I love that I can easily move the shelving if desired and then lock in place. I was so impressed with the unit that I ordered another for my laundry room.

Excellent service
I love the shelves, they are easy to assemble and are of great quality. I love the fact they have wheels and I can move them out to clean under them. I highly recommend these shelves to anyone needing additional storage space. I purchased these shelves and when I received them one of the shelves was bent. I contacted the Seville company by email and received an instant reply. They sent out a replacement shelf almost immediately. They are excellent to deal with. I will buy their merchandise again.

Heavy Duty shelving
I wanted to buy these shelving systems at Costco for less cost but they were out of them in my surrounding area, and Customer Service did not know when anymore were coming in. Lowes has these, but not the width of shelves I wanted, besides there shelving systems require you to buy the casters separately. These were easy to assemble and make for neater storage in the Garage.

Buy two, make three...
I agree with most that has been said before (i.e. sturdy, fairly easy to assemble etc.).

Here's an additional input I haven't seen in a review yet: One reviewer mentions the possibilty to make two smaller units out of one large. True, but...

...WAY more interesting in my eyes is the possibility to combine two 5-shelf-units to one 10-shelf-unit of THREE times the width. Just assemble the whole unit in one shot from the bottom up and install at least two (better three) shelves towards the OUTSIDE, therefore connecting the two units. A word of caution: Be sure beforehand on what heights you want the shelves mounted, since it is almost impossible to correct this later without major disassemby!

You get a three shelves wide unit, obviously with the same number of shelves (10). You do NOT gain shelf space, but you DO gain room for larger items (which this shelving can handle very easily) and one VERY sturdy wall unit. And while you are at it, you might want to explore the 'buy three, make five'-version...

Great and EASY!
I just wanted more shelving for the laundry room and this was perfect! Easy to put together quickly and not to heavy to carry in the laundry room by myself once it was put together total weight 40lbs. All shelves are adjustable. I just wanted to add also u could use this as two smaller shelving units you just won't have feet on one of them. Just a thought. As for packing I read some of the other reviews and some people have had there packages banged up it must be in the shipping. My package was very well packed in two boxes and the outside was not banged up.

Love item not directions
First the good...love this shelving unit. Its sturdy and has nice wide shelves. I also really like the look of it (black). Now the bad...I consider myself semi intelligent but it still took me some time to put the first one (I got 2)together. The directions were not clear and straightforward however the second one went together fast. Dont let this deter you from buying. You will love the end result.

Not Good
I am a relatively handy person who has assembled many things. I found that trying to assemble these shelves without the help of a second person very difficult and it took me much longer that the "less than 30 minutes" advertised. There are no built in aids to allow one to align properly the shelves or to slightly correct the alignment once the shelves arelocked in.

How do i build a concrete slab?

I want to build a 12x12 concrete slab its only gonna be used to anchor some industrial metal shelving w/ sheets of metal or plastic for sides and roof, it will primarily be storage but will also be used to work on small motors and so will be exposed to gasoline, oil, etc. I live in CT and we get some real good freezes here how thick does the slab have to be? Do i need to use rebar? and can i just dig the hole and pour or do i need to do the whole stone and sand thing first?

u dont need rebar, just dig out the area..make sure its level..build forms around area...and pour concrete about 4 inches thick...u might want to rent a mixer if your doing it yourself...thats gonna take quite a few bags of cement
