Great mattress
After a weeks research I decided on buying this mattress. This was the cheapest and most convenient option for me. I like the mattress a lot. I used to get up atleast 1 or 2 times in a night but after only 1 week sleeping on the mattress I sleep like a baby. The smell wasn't a problem for me. I removed the cover and let it sit in my room for 2 days. Instead of buying on Amazon I bought it directly from company's website, that saved me $30. I would recommend you do the same.

Super Firm
This mattress is incredibly firm. It's almost like sleeping on the floor. I let it air out for 2 days in the living room to give it time to expand and get rid of the smell from packing. When I finally laid down on it the material was very comfortable. There's nothing wrong with this bed, just don't expect it to conform to your body much. I'm 6 foot and weigh about 215, I sunk maybe a half inch into the foam while laying down. When I was sitting up I sank in a decent amount. This bed is perfect for someone who likes a really firm mattress or is really heavy. I had to go to Walmart and buy a mattress topper because I couldn't even sleep on this mattress it was so firm.

GREAT MATTRESS!
The mattress arrived sooner than I expected, since it came from California and I am in New York; it took only 6 days from shipment to delivery. When we got it inside, we noticed a 2" gash in the plastic packaging, that exposed the zipper on the mattress cover and caused it to get quite dirty and separated it from the cover itself. I notified the seller (who responded instantly, quite a surprise) and after seeing a picture of the damage that I sent them, they agreed to ship me a new cover, which I thought was very nice of them.

We then unpacked it the next morning, set it on our box spring and allowed it to inflate. There was NO odor, as is common with these mattresses (the odor is supposed to go away after a day or so). The mattress took 5 hours to fully inflate to a tad more than the 10" I expected. I was able to sleep in it that night; and what a great night's sleep I had! Sooooo comfortable!

I would recommend a mattress from Dynasty to anyone. Wonderful product, unbelivable value, and great customer service.

Do be aware that someone needs to sign for it when it's delivered. Track your package, and when you see it's "out for delivery" be sure someone is home when it comes.

Good For Multiple Uses.
My wife and I do occasional camping. We have a three-person tent and usually stay in campgrounds accessible by car. We had a couple thin sleeping pads but my wife always thought they were uncomfortable. Then she spotted these foldable mats and suggested that we get a couple. She added that we could also use them as beds when we get visitors to our small house which lacks a guest room.

We've gone camping with them twice now. They're very bulky and take up a lot of space in the car, but we have a Honda Element SUV and they fit. They're very large for a tent also. When spread out, the two of them take almost all the floor space in a three-person tent, but they fit. As for sleeping, they provide an excellent surface. My wife says they're the best tent mattresses she has ever slept on, despite the difficulties. I agree.

We've recently had guests stay at the house. With a single guest, we doubled up both pads and they provided an excellent sleeping surface. With two people, each slept on a single mat, The reports were that the single mat was rather firm, but worked well. At least, it was a lot better than checking in at a local motel.

All in all, we're satisfied with the mats and think we'll get a lot of use out of them. They're very bulky and are difficult to store, either in the garage or in the back of the car during transport.

Pricey, not worth it.
I bought this in August 2009. It's firm but works for me as my back hurts in soft cushion. It doesn't have a carry bag and the sheet can not be replaced easily as it's stitched. I don't have a problem with the smell. However, for the material used, it's not worth it. You can get this in costco for under $50, and yet with a carry bag and better material. Too late when I saw it in nearby costco (CA).

Get rid of socks-like smell on a polyurethane mattress?

Hi everyone.Recently I bought a used mattress in a pretty good condition.
It was clean and OK.I decided to clean it better using a LYSOL disinfectant spray.I also put Febreeze.You know, spraying it out just to make sure there is no any bad stuff.So, I sprayed it pretty much.On the next day I noticed there was an area where it smellt like a pair of well used socks.Even I had already sprayed most of the mattress.I sprayed more there.The next day I noticed it smellt more.Well, I went to the store and bought a vinyl mattress cover with a zipper.I "closed" the mattress inside the cover thinking it would be OK.But no.It still smellt.I didn't know what to do.On the next morning I started searching Internet for resolution of the problem.I found some posters from people with similar problems (pet urine smells, dirt etc.)They all recommend Nature's Miracle cleaner.Today I bought it and sprayed it on the mattress.And now even the no-smell areas smell like wet socks.
Please, what to do?

I'm interested in buying a polyurethane foam mattress and have heard the importance of density (No less than 4lb) but was wondering how i can convert thickness (i am interested in buying a 12cm thickness pref) into density?

There is no relationship between the thickness and the density. They are two different measurements.

A minimum of 4 lb density is recommended for the top layer. The base foam will never be as high as 4 lbs. Usually 2.5 -2.8 is the best in class. I am assuming you mean a 12" and not cm mattress.

How can I get rid of the awful "paint-like" smell my polyurethane memory foam cover has?

I just purchased one of those polyurethane memory foam mattress pads, but when I took it out of the package, I noticed that the polyurethane smell was horribly strong. Still, I slept on it, and now all my bedding and mattress (and frankly, my room!) smell like polyurethane to the point I need to rewash everything and not use the memory foam right now. Any clues as to how to get that awful "paint-like" smell to disappear from my memory foam mattress pad? If not, any idea how long until that smell coming from the memory foam will last? Will it go away on its own? I would really love to be able to use it again. I paid some money for it and it really is comfortable.

The smell will dissipate within a month maybe 6 weeks. Also a mattress cover will help and will give it the natural look of the mattress plus save it from any mishaps. Nothing that is waterproof because it will hold heat in and make you sweat (we did it).We have one and love ours. I wouldn't spray or do anything to the mattress itself or it might actually discolor the foam.
