Put on walk in closet. Works. If u have to create a new doorframe holething may take a lil longer but I was able to just switch out the Knobs on the closet.

Perfect Locking Handle...
I just received this item two days ago and had no problems installing it on my son's bedroom door.
The construction of the door handle is very good and the keys to the lock are larger than normal so I will not mistake them for any of the other keys for the locks around my home. I do recommend this item to anyone looking to upgrade security for rooms inside their home.

Quick & Easy
I am a Handyman Contractor and have installed just about every brand of lock made, even the Chinese knockoffs that customers pick up at Big Lots or Tuesday Mornings.

I will say that KwikSet makes the easiest locks to install. There are other companies that make more solid products, but from an installation perspective, KwikSet wins hands down. The quality of KwikSet, while not the best, is very good for the price. A word of advice - for exterior entry units, spend the extra money and upgrade to the more expensive KwikSet models. The "entry" versions will be tarnished in 5 years.

I have bought KwikSet on other websites but just recently found them on Amazon. The selection on Amazon is somewhat limited, but if they have what you are looking for, their prices are very competitive.

Kwikset Juno Venetian Bronze Knobs
I am very happy with my purchase of the Kwikset Juno Venetian Bronze door knobs for my home. I am in the process of replacing all the door knobs in my home with these. What a difference and a quick way to spruce up the look of your home. My home had Kwikset brass knobs originally installed by the builder and after many years they looked dated and worn. The new knobs have drastically cleaned up the look of my home and actually make my doors look new again. I like they have a matte finish to them and are not glossy. They have a low, flat profile and do not stick out like the giant ball shaped brass knobs I replaced.

I purchased several of the passage knobs, dummy knobs, and lock knobs. No problems with install as I was able to easily remove the old ones and replace with these. I chose to go with Kwikset for ease of use since my home already had Kwikset knobs. I did not have to do any cutting of wood, it was an easy swap.

Good reasonably priced door knob
I just purchased this door knob to see if I liked it enough to replace the very cheap knobs the home builder installed. I also wanted to replace the solid brass finish with polished nickel to update the look of my home.

For the price this is a very well contructed door knob.

One thing I should note is the way this knob attaches to the door the screws are sunk in so that instead of seeing the screws you see 2 open holes. This does make it easier to install the knob but looks like there are no screws in it. It is a little different looking but I have no problem with the look.

I liked it enough I will be replacing all my door knobs and locks with this style.

This is a pretty basic doorknob. I didn't realize it didn't come with a key! It's just a doorknob with a fake keyhole (it's blocked out) and a lock.

So Easy to Install
I bought this lock to replace an existing lock. I had never replaced a lock, but the directions were easy to understand. It took me less than 10 minutes to remove the old one and install this one. It looks good, feels solid, and works just fine.

Though I did not have to use this feature, it is possible to adjust the setback from 2 3/8" to 2 3/4".

If you are looking for an affordable, easy-to-install lock, this one would fit the bill. Based upon this experience, I would not hesitate to buy another Master Lock in the future.

I need to know how to take off a bathroom door knob that has no visible screws. Anyone?

If there are no visible screws, look closely at the stem which is the straight shaft just behind the knob itself, and you should see a very small button in the side of the shaft. Press this button (try a flathead screwdriver), then pull the knob toward you. It should slide off the stem.

I have kitchen cabinets with no door pulls that are hard to open but don't really want the expense of drilling holes in every cabinet face and installing knobs. Are there any products out there that allow you to do this -- like magentic knobs or pulls?

Last I checked drilling holes didn't cost anything.....Knobs are cheap as long as you buy ones that are in stock.

Buy or make a template so you put the hole in the same place for each door.

I have a turn of the century apartment with very old doors/knobs. They are beautiful Victorian style door knobs and I was wondering if it would be most effective to remove the knob and soak in some sort of chemical, or just scrub them to death with something. I don't want to damage the wood doors and Brasso wasn't quite doing the trick, i need something industrial for these babies. Any sort of chemical I can use? I just get frusterated looking for these things at the hardware store. Thanks!

I have existing door knobs that look like wood with brass base and want to match in. I want the type of door knobs that have a latch you turn to lock for in a bathroom etc.
I found some at Kmart but not a huge range just gold, brass or silver. Is there a specialist retail shop that sells a variety of door knobs? Who do i get to install them - a handyman?? or a carpenter??
