Good grip, does not move
It is compact, positions itself well and does not slide along the door. The wooden knobs help keep the clothes from slipping. Overall it added a lot of value at my house. Now my husband and I dont have to pile our clothes together on the bathroom door.

Just bought my second!
I purchased this for my new bathroom which had only one towel rod. I love it! I was really surprised at how sturdy it was and how much it holds...which by the way I only have bath sheets, not towels. It fits my door nicely and doesn't bang around when you open or shut the door.
Now I have company coming to stay and felt I needed one for their room too. Seldom do I buy things twice. With free 2 day shipping, you can't beat it!

It's great!
I like to buy things like this here in amazon, bc most of the time I'll find them cheaper, plus I have a prime account, and I don't have to pay taxes online, which is really great. I like this over the door hook, bc it's very stirdy, and it can rally take a lot of weight. Sometimes I put my purse on it, which is about 10lbs (I have A LOT of stuff in my purse) and it won't bend or anything. I really like it.

Perfect!

Strong & Sturdy
I just received mine today and am very pleased with it. It is much nicer than I expected. It is attractive and well made. It is very strong and sturdy and can hold a good amount of weight. It does not interfere with closing the door. Mine was perfect, it did not have any blemishes or damage like a couple of other reviewers had. A good feature is that the hooks are not all in a line like other items of this type. Besides looking good, it is more functional for me that way. I would recommend this to anyone with a regular size door. If your door is more than 1.5" thick this will not work for you.

Product dimensions...
I just received the over-door hanger today, and am writing this review for those who are unsure whether or not it will fit their door. The product dimensions on the label are 17.5"W x 2.25"D x 10"H.

My door is 1.5" thick, and the hanger fits it perfectly with zero wiggle room.

It is much heavier & more sturdy than I expected for the price. However, it arrived with quite a few rust marks and nicks on the hooks that negatively affect the aesthetics of the product. The blemishes aren't a huge problem for me, since my coats and bags will be covering them, but still, the damage was clearly done before shipping.

I will update this post in a few months with a performance review.

Great tool!
Have three of these now, use two in laundry room to hang clothes to dry (on clothes hangers). These are VERY durable and fit each standard door without a hitch. I consider these a bargain.

Clutter saver
We had recently redone my daughter's room and it was at her suggestion that we find something to fit over her door for hanging up jackets and other light items. When the door hanger arrived, I was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy it was. It definitely was a smart (and inexpensive) way to reduce some of her clothing "clutter"!

Works great
This hanger is heavy duty and perfectly fits a 1&3/8" door, which is the dimension of most interior doors. The lady in the previous review did not receive a defective product. Rather, she was defective in measuring the door she intended on putting the hanger on - before she purchased the hanger. The dimensions of the hanger are clearly indicated on the description of the product. This is a great hanger for a 1&3/8" door!

I keep getting door hangers on my door and this is very bad news for me because I go out of town a lot (for 2-4 days usually) and these dang door hangers are really bad news because they when they pile up they make it obvious that I am not home. (Not good!).

What can I do to stop this?

This is a very frustrating problem.

I have gotten to the point where i file an action in small claims court when I get one of these.

When the owners of the company that is advertised get a subpoena for small claims court they usually get the message and stop.

But aI have found that calling these people generally does not work.

They need to see that you will actually take legal action against them.
