anyone got an audi a4? my door handle on the drivers side has just dropped off! i found it on the floor next 2 it & had it repaired but cannot seem to get it back on. has this happened 2 anybody else & if so can they tell me how to fix it. cheers

I'm not sure about the car, but if you go to your local scrap yard, you'll probably find an Audi in there, and then just break the door handle off (try not to actually break it) and then pay for it, it'll be like £10 at most I would expect. Then if you can't fit it yourself, I'm sure a garage would be happy to do it (for a small charge of course)

I have not found any law or inspection issue with shaved door handles.I heard it can pass inspection but is against the law.Is it legal?For my 95 Mitsubishi Mirage ES has shaved handles and lots of mods.You can mod suspension to a point.No tint on front windows.Alter exhaust.But nothing on shaved handles.Please let me know if it is legal for shaved handles.Thank you

spray with clorox all purpose cleaner and scrub it with hot or warm damp wash cloth...that's what i do mine i spray and scrub them at least once a week or whenever i see looks dirty...

Apparently Astro door handles are rivetted in. So, also how do I deal with that?

If you remove the inner door panel and look in with a light, you can see a rod running from the handle to the locking mech. That rod as a clip on it, remove that clip and slide that rod out of the handle. Reach in and remove the two bolts holding the handle on, then pull the handle out and reinstall the new one.

I am getting shaved door handles and was wondering about opening them. Is it a keyless entry type button, If so, what's a website that I can get one off of? Or is there a button on your car? I don't much about thid so if you have some extra wisdom please share it. Also can I shave them if I have vertical (Lamborghini) doors?
