Much better than the one that came with the sofa
I purchased the entire set last spring and immediately regretted it! It was dirty in like 3 days and it midewed very fast. Its like the only outdoor furniture that cant get wet. Well, after dealing with the white all summer, cleaning it and hating it....I finally got on this spring and low and behold this color (garnett) is on clearance. I got all the cushions I need (This one for the sofa was only 57 bucks last week and now its up to like 150 for some odd reason) I am telling you, this is like a totally different material! It is soooooo much nicer and richer looking. Just really warm and I cant tell you how happy I am with it. I did order some water repellant spray for outdoor use and sprayed all the cushions and will continue to do during the summer because I will not let these get ruined. I love them! Highly recommend! Also, I needed the center and the corner cushions and I emailed amazon because the center was not avail in garnett. Then one day, it said there were 2 which I needed. Amazon emailed me and said the center wasnt available...wierd because I just ordered 2 while you were researching. My suggestion, if you need a center...add all to your cart and check back daily to find the center ones.

So far so good
So far, these cushions are holding up pretty well. It was pretty ridiculous that the original cushions were not made for the outdoors. These are good quality and have so far made it through a few big thunderstorm w/o stains or damage. I will definitely cover them through the winter months. Make sure you do not put them in the washing machine. I made that mistake w/the original ones and they shrank A LOT even w/o drying.

Police: Man had pellet gun, pot within reach of 3-year-old

An Evansville man was arrested Monday afternoon when observe investigating a story of shots fired adjacent to his residence discovered a pellet gun and marijuana viscera and within reach of a pubescent child, according to watch documents.

Cody L. Pekar is due in court today on introductory charges of bad hat mischief, dealing marijuana over 30 grams, hold of marijuana over 30 grams and youth neglect.

Evansville Enforce Department officers went to Pekar's visit at 2125 Washington Avenue after receiving several reports of vehicles that had their windows by no chance out while traveling in that stump.

What is the best setting to wash couch cushion covers on?

I have a rather old couch, and no clue at all what material the cushion covers are made of but i need to wash them. What would be the best setting to use?

Do not take them off and wash them. The chances of them ever fitting again are slim to none. Rent a steam cleaner and clean your entire sofa instead.

My previous couch had gotton dirty one time and I took the covers off the cushions and washed them in the washing machine and they ended up shrinking. Is there a way to clean cushion covers without them shrinking? I don't know what the fabric is but it's soft and the color changes slightly when you rub it different directions...

It sounds like the material is velour.
I would take them off the cushions, soak overnight in tepid water with detergent.
Rinse.
Soak in tepid water and fabric softener.
Slow spin.
Straighten out to dry.

I was over at my buddies house watching baseball when I felt my stomach cramp up, a sure sign that diarreah was right around the corner. I let one rip, it was a silent one that lasted about 8 seconds and the smell was horrid! His wife was pissed off and I feel terrible. She wants me to buy them a new couch, but I'm wondering if febreze will remove that fart from the cushion? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

i just "inherited" a computer chair that smells like f@rts when you sit in it a while. Febreeze hasn't helped. repeated steaming with a hand held steamer. next thing to try is ironing a dryer sheet on top of "spot".

Replacing a damaged couch cushion and cover?

My dogs completely chewed through the cover and cushion of both of my couch cushions. Is there any place that I could get a replacement cushion AND cover? Please do not say the manufacturer. Thanks in advance.

You will need to call a reupholsterer. They will bring fabric swatches to your house and try to match the material the couch is made from. If they can't match it exactly, what they will suggest they do is remove the fabric from the back of the couch (which they will replace with a fabric that closely matches your couch) and use the fabric from the back to make your new cushions. My husband fell asleep with a cigarette in his hand and set the arm of the couch on fire. They used the fabric from the back of the couch to reupholster the arm and one cushion that had a burn hole in it.

I have to thanks biblestudypodcasts.org for helping me find a verse for this morning. There is nothing like having an fancy of what to write, knowing that there are verses, but not knowing where to find them. Biblestudypodcasts.org  is an terrific podcast that dives deeper into God’s Word, helping people have found out the nature of God and how to apply Biblical principles to our lives today. Besides, what is so astonishing is that I am visiting on a topic today that the host, Toby, has been speaking about for a while now: sin. So, it’s all convincing.

 

I have discovered something really neat about my couch. See, we don’t have a well placed table in our living dwelling for me to be able to sit here and work and have my coffee close by. One night I clear to try an experiment. The cushions of this couch are not connected to each other. I had myself on one of the cushions and texts books piled up on the other. So, I intellect I would try to put my coffee on a closed text book and see what happens. The cup, I believed I Euphemistic pre-owned a commuter mug for safety reasons, balanced quite obviously. I did a tiny little wiggle on my side of the couch to see if the coffee reacted and there was nothing. So, I did a smidgen bounce; nothing. Then I kind of hopped up and down in my seat (must have looked inviting) and still nothing. I can do all kinds of things in this seat and my coffee will stay virtuousness in place on the other cushion. I ended that evening quite proud of myself and felt like I was getting away with something deceitful.
