Customer Reviews

Great storage
This is a great storage item for the garage. It was relatively easy to put together. All parts fit together well. Fits my needs very well.
Pantry storage
Just arrived today. Easy to put together and so far there is only one problem. During shipping a small piece on the door broke. I might be able to glue it on...it is suppose to help keep the door shut. I'm not seeing a problem closing the door and it doesn't swing open, so I'm not going to return it.

Nice size, plastic so easy to clean. Nice looking, lots of extra storage for Pantry or small appliance in my case...just extra kitchen stuff.

Shipped fast with Amazon Prime. I would recommend to a friend or family.
Great Value!
Very rarely am I pleasantly surprised by something I buy online, but this is a great value. Assembly is basically idiot proof, so I'm not even sure it's possible to assemble the cabinet in any other way than it is meant to be assembled, plus it shouldn't take more than 15 minutes max to put one together. I bought three for the garage and it makes things look much more tidy. You can't beat the price and the fact that shipping is included makes them a steal.
Very Practical. I bought two!
Love this product! I have a small porch and live in a small house with one closet. I was always bumping into the vacuum and attachments, cleaning products, rolling tool organizer, not to mention that the porch looked like a junk heap. After reading the other reviews that recommended 2 sets of hands made the job easier, I had a friend come over and help me put these together and it took us less than 20 minutes to assemble them both. One has all the shelves in place and the other has two shelves since I store my vacuum and step ladders in the tall space. Not only do these hold everything I listed but much more, like my 2 stock pots, lunch bags and various misc. items that needed a home. They literally came in 2 days, no damage and who can beat FREE s&h!! I love purchasing from Amazon for that reason. I was in a "box" store this weekend and this very same product was 79.99 so savings were an added bonus. Thank you Amazon.
Seems like a decent enough value...
MSRP on Amazon appears to be $119, currently on sale (8-2-10) for $57. Bought it for $79.99 @ Target. Even at $80 it seems like a decent value.

Originally, I had contemplated getting several wooden stand-alone pantries. But decided they were too short at 5' and far too heavy. Instead, I paid slightly more for these Sterilite cabinets. I think I made a good choice. They're light, relatively tall and seem fairly durable.

Keep in mind, they're NOT especially WIDE. I bought 2 and put them side by side to use as a standalone kitchen pantry. That should do the trick.

In terms of ease of assembly, it was pretty simple. About 10-15 minutes each, including unpacking. It's made in sections and they all more or less slide and snap together. The included instructions are pretty straightforward and all the parts are labeled with letters, making it pretty easy to tell which piece is what.

The fact that the shelves are also easily adjustable is nice too.

My only minor glitches so far have been that on one of them the top nubs don't seem to reach the top wall of the cabinet, thus don't quite "lock" in place (the bottom works fine, so it's fairly moot) and on the other, the back left corner of the top wall of the cabinet just won't cooperate and go the last 2mm or so to sit flush with the back wall/corner. There's a tiny gap there (however, since it's at the back and won't ever be seen and the nubs on the front doors DO "lock" properly into place on the top and bottom when closed, it's a moot point and hardly worth mentioning). Neither issue is sufficient for me to really complain or dock any stars from the review. If they had 1/2 star increments, I might go to 4.5 stars for the minor glitches. Otherwise, they seem pretty simple to assemble and probably reasonably durable. Might not recommend putting them outside empty as the wind could knock them over since they're quite light on their own.

So far, I'm quite satisfied. I haven't yet loaded them up with stored canned goods and such, but I'm fairly confident they'll hold up well enough. Once I get a decent supply, I might update with how it hold up, but I don't foresee any problems.

Bx. witness relives end of Ft. Hood nightmare

FORT HOOD, Texas -- A Bronx by birth yesterday recalled how he followed feral Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan after his uproar to try to help take him down -- and slash up watching over the homicide when he was shot.

Army Sgt. James McLeod, 41, said he was in a accommodation in a building next to where the gunfire indigent out when he looked face to see Hasan d by after he had unleashed his massacre Thursday.

McLeod, who grew up on the Fantabulous Concourse and is married with two kids, then followed Hasan shell, where the gunman was confronted by valorous local cop Sgt. Kimberly Munley.

"I followed him out, and he went to the right, and I followed," McLeod told The Position.

"[Munley] was on the communistic side, and they exchanged gunfire."

"When they started shooting between each other, I was maybe 10 feet away when they were exchanging fire," McLeod said.

"[Munley] was hit, and she backs up. She marksman him, then he shot her. Then the other masculine officer engages him."

Ignoring her wounds, Munley still managed to transistor for her own backup, according to the McLeod.

"When she went down, she grabbed her broadcast and said 'Copper down!' " McLeod said. "[Hasan] was mindless, but he was breathing."

Once the shooting ended, Hasan was handcuffed, and soldiers rushed to relief the wounded Munley.

"Once he was down, they said, 'They got him, he's down!' I ran over to where the masculine officer was,

i converted my garage into a bedroom. I enclosed the gas hot water heater in a utility closet. It does have

flue gas vent that goes through the roof. I put two vents in the utility closet one below the burner and the other towards the top of the closet door. The gas hot water heater is away from an outside wall... So are the two vents i put in the closet (vent in room)and the flue gas vent that goes to the roof enough...? Or do is this dangerous for the person living is that room? the room is 3000 cubic feet and the water heater has 40,000 btus.

hi there- becuase this is a bedroom there are things you need to due to the closet such as weather strip the door and self closing hinges as such. national fuel gas code section 9.28.1 --- also for your venting if you punched through the wall and didnt go to a chimney i hope you did this with bvent and not smoke pipe?? national fuel gas code section 10.6.1 will walk you through.-----also for your venting and intake of your combstion air refer to section 8.2. this will tell you that the reason for your vents is to bring in air and that will be 8.3.2.3. one opening will be cut 12 inches on top and one will be cut 12 inches on bottom. i went into detail and gave you the specific section from memory. these are not well maybe's and i think's and not here go to this website. you are dealing with a SERIOUS ISSUE THAT WHEN NOT FOLLOWED RIGHT WILL KILL YOU..... my advice to you is dont cut any corners. do it the right way. its for your safety and any one else who is going to be in there

I think you should ask an expert about this. If the heater is room sealed it could be OK but to be on the safe side you need expert advice. The downside is it could be disastrous if you have made an error. Good luck.

There are two dangers here. Is the flue pipe metalbestas or lined to prevent a fire from heat conduction at ceiling and roof penetrations? The door should be steel and louvered at the bottom. This louvered door should have a fire rating and sized to provide combustible air to water heater burner. The second danger is carbon monoxide. Check draft at draft diverter with a match or smoke candle for proper ventilation. If it doesn't draft properly shut off the water heater and call a licenced heating contractor! I also would install a carbon monoxide/fire detector both in the water heater room and the adjoining room. If you have any further questions consult with your local building department or licenced heating contractor. This project is safe if done properly with the correct materials.

Yes. It is very dangerous. Do not use this room for sleeping . The water heater you described needs a source of oxygen for the flame to heat the water and you are not providing it in the correct way. You either need to add a source of outside air with venting or change the water heater to a 'direct vent' style. Talking to your local building officials will inform you tremendously. They are there to help you. It is inferred that you did not get a permit to do this but you can talk in the most general terms and get your information. Please hear this and do not allow anyone to sleep there. You have created a very dangerous situation. Do not delay.

Nurse was told to put a live aborted baby in a soiled utility closet untill he died?

Jill Stanek is supposed to testify before Senate once again(testified in 2000) about how she was told to put an aborted down syndrome baby in a soiled utility closet because the parents didn't want to hold him. The nurse couldn't do it so she held the infant for 45 min until he died. How does this story make you feel. I just heard it, I am pro-choice, but this partial birth abortion just makes me sick to my stomach. Why would anyone abort their baby just because he has down syndrome, these people live happy fulfilled lives.

This is true. and obama lied about it. he said he voted against But all the news media station last night Said he lied. CNN his big cover up even said he lied they were not to happy with him either. Since all the news commenter were talking about it it forced their hand to admit he was lying. Plus, that they had both amendments and they were identical. in wording .and Obama was present when the nurse testified. And still voted against giving the babies medical help. Only a dark hateful soul could deny a helpess suffering child medical.help. No I would never even speak to this man. much less vote for him.

On Black Friday, I like to fool people into lining up outside the store's utilities closet. How about you?

I like switching price tags.

It's cruel, I know, but do people REALLY expect a 60" Flatscreen Plasma TV to be $29.99?

How much work is it to replace the exhaust vent pipe of a natural gas appliance such as a water heater?

If the appliance is in the utility closet of a one-story A-frame house (on the main floor, not basement) and the vent pipe goes straight up to the roof, what tools do you need to replace the vent pipe? How heavy is it likely to be?

thats pretty easy. The hardest part is getting to the mounts for the vent that may be in the wall and could be set every few feet. The vent sections are not that heavey, but if you try to move the whole thing all at once, you may have trouble by yourself. For the tools, you will need a drill, some mounting strips (i used the metal plumber mounts. it comes in a spool and you just cut off what you need as you need it, mount with a few screws and attach to your vent - a cutter like tin snips if you use this type of mount) Most of the time, the vent sections have a linking system to let the sections pop together, but check and make sure; you may need a gromit gun if the sections to self-attach. Thats the basics for hanging the vent, but you may need more tools if you have to dig into your wall. If thats the case, you will need some tools for cutting and repairing drywall / plaster. Take special care attaching to the water heater. Any leak there could leave you with a carbonmonoxide problem.

What dryer brands have the side vent option available?

I am currently purchasing a home that has a utility closet (for washer / dryer to be side by side). The wall vent is to the left, going into the garage. I need to find a brand that allows for direct venting out of its side. Most brands have the vent hole in the middle of the back of the units, and there just isn't enough space to do the venting from the back to the side, as the dryer would stick out too far, and the closet door won't shut.

Whirlpool, has option for back, right, left and bottom. We had the same issue and vented out the left side. Lowes is where we bought ours.

The Laundry Machine Saga - Part II

When I woke up this morning I went to receipt on the washing machine to see if I'd somehow gotten lucky and the ice had magically disappeared over darkness . . . nope, it still wasn't working.

Julianne irrefutable that she would take matters into her own hands--literally--and took the load of clothes out of the washer and began washing them by like mad easily in the sink . . .

And so the devil in me forced me to begin taking pictures while gift 'helpful' comments and the occasional back rub . . . lol.

Julianne's 'I'm very glad face.'

I decided to call the university department secretary to let her be sure about the problem. Me being the independent spirit that I am I wanted to wait until Monday before business for 'official assistance' from anybody. I explained what was going on, and then said that I was thriving to wait and see if the ice melted . . .
