broom stuck inside door bottom down and top against wall in closet?

There are no hinges outside door broom is lodged inside closet bottom of broom down and top must be against back wall what can i use under the door to move the broom that would be strong enough to move it? desperate must get in this room by tomorrow my work materials are in this room.
Thanks so much please help

Try a steel ruler. Try a coat hanger. Try a poker from the fireplace (if you have one). Frustrating situation for you. Good luck.

Go to your hardware store this afternoon. they might have a piece of hardboard plastic formica wire sheet metal etc thin enough to go under the door.

wire coathanger ? cut it open if necessary.

Try a hanger.Or take the handle off and the door should open.

Yes, according to the retardation theory, anything and/or everything has the ability to do something because they think that it is either of a laughing matter and/or capible of making some one a giggly butt.
Although i cannot give you a full answer because of my lack of knowlegge of what the heck you are talking about.

a.k.a (WHAT?)

Wow. Doesn't your closet open outwards. If it's a bi fold, you still should be able to lift it up off the tracks Sorry I am of no help, but I just can't visualize the situation. Good Luck.

A broom's top (or bottom, respectively) is comprised of flexible brushes. Use brute force to crunch that extra foot of space by opening the door. Slide your hand in there and lift the broom with your own arm, or, with a pair of pliers, if it is still out of reach.

If you can open the door even a little bit, take the end of a piece of stiff wire [ electrician's fish tape, ceiling suspension wire, etc.], bend a hook at the end and insert it, hook first over the door, feeding it in a downward, back and forth motion until you hook the broom's handle. Then pull the door back toward yourself [ if possible ], to relieve pressure on the broom, and than pull the broom upward with the wire/fish. Use gloves and/or vise-grips [ locking pliers ], on the fish to save your hands. If the door cannot be opened, a hole in the wallboard above the door, or the ceiling will have to be made, and the fish inserted there. The use of a stud finder for wall hole location will prove to be beneficial.

What US President allegedly had an extra-marital affair in a White House Broom Closet?

And also fathered children while married and in the White House.

Warren G Harding, supposedly had a " cutie in every closet "
You ought to read H.L. Menken's essays on him some day.
The parrallel for today is both our current pResident and Warren were totally unqualified for the presidency. Only Warren admitted it.

How would I come out of the pagan "broom closet" to my friends and family?

I'd really like to know the best way to do this without everyone, including those in my community, looking down on me. There are some in my family that know already, like my sister-in-law, but coming out to my parents, in-laws and the like just scares me. I also live in a very small southern town, and I'd like to be left alone. I have not came out yet mainly b/c my son starts school here this year, and I don't want him to be bothered or made fun of because of the way I believe. My husband is fine with it, too, by the way.

I'd like to know what you all think. Christians, you can answer if it's helpful to me. Please don't preach, b/c you can't change my mind about what I believe. Pagans, Wiccans or anyone who has been in a similar situation, I'd love to hear how you handled it and what happened, etc.

Thank you in advance!!!!
For paul_t, I used the word "pagan" as a general term. I'm actually Wiccan, if that makes a difference.

You don't need to tell anyone what your religion is. It is a private issue. The main reasons I see for "coming out of the broom closet" is the shock value. It doesn't sound like that is your intention so why do it? I'm not saying that you should hide who you are, but there are no reasons to get extremely vocal about it. You can do as you like as long as it harms none. Will "coming out" harm anyone? Then don't do it.

If someone asks you what your religion is, then do what I do. I just answer that it's mine. If I get questions from someone who has seen a piece of jewelry or a decoration in my home, I answer simply that these are my beliefs. It's not easy. Discrimination is everywhere. Misconception is even more prevalent.

Just continue to be the good person that you are and when they do figure out your beliefs you will have helped to dis-spell many myths about Wicca. All of my family know my beliefs and I've yet to be the one to tell them. They see it and some ask questions which I answer. Some ignore it and continue to "pray" for me. Some no longer come to my home. That's OK too. These are not people who I really want to be around anyway.

We don't need to convince anyone that we are right and they are wrong.
We also don't require that anyone agrees with us.
We don't need to shock anyone.
All we need to do is to live according to our beliefs.

I'll light a candle for you to help you find the path you need to follow on this issue. I would also suggest that you meditate on this before you decide what to do. You will make the right decision for you and for your family. Whatever the decision or the outcome it will put you on the path that you need to follow at this time.
BTW I'm not Wiccan but do follow my own path.

How does one go about coming out of the "broom closet"?

There are only really a couple people that know i'm pagan, my mother, and a couple of friends. My father wont accept it what so ever so he doesnt know, and i dont know how to go about telling people without being shunned.
I understand that I dont need to announce it to the whole world, I wasnt really planning to, but the people around me, thats why i asked the question.

You'll be surprised how tolerant some people can be. Maybe not your father, but your friends.

Keep your attitude light, present this as something positive (it is!), be prepared to give a short spiel about what it is and why you're part of it.

You don't have to run out and tell everyone right away. Wearing a pentacle will make it come up. You can also mention your beliefs in discussions on religion (and then there's Halloween/Samhain coming up!) One thing I learned is to say what Paganism *is* rather than *is not*. Saying a lot of "we don't do this" will put bad images into others' minds, so just talk about the things that drew you to this path, and then if someone has a negative stereotype or question, address it then.

It *will* get back to your father, so be prepared for that, too.

Good luck!

how do I come out of the broom closet to my christian Grand mother?

Uh well my grand mother is the wildly christian type of person and I am pagan. I have been pagan for around two years and I think I am ready to come out of the broom closet to my friends and family. Though I think most of my family will understand my Grand mother is the problem I don't know how to tell her. or if it is wise to come ou to her in the first place.
SCREW YOU MSIM225. Not all pagans are lesbians, and if you are so narrow minded then you shouldn't aswering my question but asking yourself "why the hell would anyone like advice from a dumb assed douche bag like me"

I was in the same situation. Last Christmas I told my grandma that I was pagan. She didn't give much of a reaction. A few weeks later my dad was mad at me. He told me she cried for days because she "knew her granddaughter was going to hell". I would like to say "tough shit! I do not have control of your feelings, you do! Why can't you people who call themselves my family want to get to know ME?!?!?" It doesn't work like that. My brother is trying to help me see that I just need to keep my mouth shut and take it. When I have grandchildren someday I'll make sure to get to know who they are if they want to tell me. I don't like it but I can't change my grandma only myself.

Today someone who didn't formerly know, discovered I was a Pagan. I don't mind the questions categorically and I'm grateful they take the ...
