Best Quality I have seen in a long time
This is the best quality product I have seen in a long time. The detail is beautiful and it was so easy to put together. The only flaw is that there is no detail on the back of the chair. So when the chair is placed neatly under the table the back of the chair is plain. Not a deal breaker, but it would have made this set the cutest on the planet.

My granddaughter loves her make-up table.
Anna is almost five and I didn't want her to miss the enchantment of pretending to be a little princess while she is young. Her parents tell me that she has great time with her make up table when her best friend comes to visit. Earlier, she kept telling me that she didn't have a make up table and I am sure she will use this table to do her homework, etc when she starts school. It is wonderful to be a young girl and have fun, and I am glad I bought it for her.

My daughter's review of the Vanity
First off, the Vanity arrived way sooner than was promised. This made my daughter's birthday complete. She finds the storage space to be to her liking. The only complaint is that the tassles on the chair like to come undone when tied with a bow. About the only knot that will hold them is a square knot.

ADORABLE!!!!
I searched high and low for a vanity for my 3 1/2 year old daughter. She SCREAMED when she saw the vanity. She LOVED LOVED it. It is so sweet and the detailing is wonderful. I was most surprised with the quality. I'm going to order more from the set. Really fit for a princess!

elegant Looking Bench
The bench arrived in a timely manner and was in good condition.
However, the material has a tendency to stretch and as a result, there are small wrinkles on the bench seat. Considering the price paid for the bench, this is not a major issue.

Disappointed
When this product 1st arrived the legs were split or had cracks in them. The vendor sent us a replacement that was in much better condition. But don't expect this stool color to match the vanity. The stool is more white and made to look antique or shabby. After my average size 7year old used it for a couple of weeks the leg broke off at the base of the stool. The wood connection on stool to legs is not strong. The cushion is very nice.

look nice but made crappy
I ordered 2 of them for my daughters and they both broke! my husband fixed the legs on them and it broke again. Because I only spent $15 each I just went out and bought something else that is much better. They look nice but, apparently not made well. Disappointed.

JUNK
Leg broke off after 2 weeks, I repaired with carpenters glue and some clamps overnight. The next day, the other two legs broke off. This chair is going in the garbage.

Pretty but horribly made! Dangerous!
I loved this vanity stool upon it's arrival. BOY do I wish I had read the reviews. I saw this stool featured in Country Living magazine. I've never made a purchase after seeing an item in a article. I may not again! 15 minutes after the very simple assembly, just using it as a foot stool, not even putting body weight on the stool, one leg fell off. Hubby fixed that one, then the next one fell off. Now I'm not going to use it. I'm afraid other parts of the construction are just as poor.... maybe it will make good kindling for the wood burner. The corner anchor piece is only in place with poor glue and 2 small brads, that don't seem to enter the wood, just bent over. This item will probably keep me from making any future Shabby Chic purchases because it's so poorly constructed.

Ordered stool because price was very good. Should have known that quality is related to price and the quality of this stool is non-existent. The legs are stapled on and two of them have broken off. I expect the other two will also break off, but because of our repairs to the broken legs, the stool is more sturdy. Definitely would not order this unless you have someone who can repair it.

Excellent
I purchased this as a vanity stool, but it is a very nice piece of furniture that looked better at the foot of my bed and is great for putting on your shoes etc. Very well made, easy to assemble. Only 1 small issue was how it was packed. The legs made an impression in the cushion which did not relax out for several weeks. I received a request from the factory on my satisfaction and they actually called about the issue and said they would try to rearrange or insert a piece of cardboard to prevent this.

Great look, cheap quality.
Loved this chair for first three months, but then it fell apart because of some cheap wood holding the screws on the leggs. Would recommend paying more for a better quality piece of furniture as this broke too easily.

Love it!
The bench went together very easily and is very cute. My only comment is that the advertised weight for shipping was about double the actual weight on the package when it arrived. If someone wants to charge more for the bench, it is worth 5 stars, but giving it 4 stars because of the inflated shipping charges.

Sitting pretty
My daughter gave me a gift certificate from Amazon for my birthday because she knew I wanted to buy this little baby. I desperately needed a chair in my computer room, which is small and really more of a storage area. A regular chair is too high, a task chair's too bulky. This little stool, however, is at the right height for typing comfort and the perfect size for the room.

The mighty BIG plus is the hideaway storage. I do lots of data and photo CD's, as well as copy my music CDs to keep my originals pristine. I'm also an enthusiastic, amateurishly creative labelmaker, ergo I buy large packs of CD labels for printing, which are easily stored in my hideaway.

Almost a year later and I still use my little stool even though we've cleared enough space for a task chair. It's comfortable, sturdy and useful in several ways. However, the bolts should be tightened VERY well, as I've had to tighten them three times before I finally smartened up and used one of those rachet thingys.
