Assembly frustrating, but worth the hassle.
I received my chair today and while the assembly was not especially complicated, it took me longer than it should have because there was only a single page included, with just pictures and no actual written instructions, so halfway through I realized I missed something and had to disassemble and start over. Also, it specified only 4 steps for at least 10 steps worth of work. If I had understood what I was dealing with from the beginning, it would have been simple enough (though I admit I don't have much experience assembling furniture). However, it seems to be fairly sturdy and comfortable so far. I would rate it higher if not for the difficult assembly and the fact that it took about a week and a half after ordering for me to receive it.

Poor Quality
Bought the chair for my 6 year old son. Weight limit states 250 lbs. He weighs 50-it broke. Purchased 4 of these chairs for our family. 2 of 4 have broken in the same place. The other one that broke belonged to my 10 year old son. Definitely not the best quality. Only had the 1st one a week before it broke and the 2nd less than a month. $20 shipping and huge inconvenience for return because they were not "defective" when we purchased them. No more big purchases from Amazon; too expensive to return. Definitely will not purchase these chairs again. Do NOT recommend!

i loved the chair in the picture and have had several other sphere chairs all of which i have loved. Though this chair is extremely comfortable, it has several stains that WILL NOT come out. It was mailed like this and in order to exchange it i have to pay the shipping. The stains don't come out and i am assuming it is because of the corduroy material. So now i am stuck with a chair that i thought i loved but now hate because of all the stains on it.

Daughter Loves It!
I bought this chair for my teenage daughter's bedroom. Although it was much larger than we expected she loves it. Because it folds in half and has handles she will fold it in half and bring it downstairs to watch movies with the family. She doesn't like to share but she's really enjoying it.

Great Chair!
I bought this for my 11 yr old daughter and she absolutely LOVES IT! It's made well (She's even slept in it!), looks nice and easily folds up and out of the way if you need. One of my best purchases this past holiday!

How do you fix the "straw bindings" of a papasan chair?

The papasan is held together by small nails. These areas are then wrapped in "straw" so that the nails don't show. On my chair, the straw is breaking off or has already broken off completely. What should I use to re-cover/re-wrap these parts?

I'm thinking something involving a hot glue gun.

Go to the hobby store in your area, Hobby Lobby or Michael's, and pick up a package of bamboo wrapping material. To start the process soak the wrapping in warm water to soften it. Take off the old binding and replace it with the new. You will have to wrap it tightly. Use a rubber band to secure until the new wrapping dries. Once dried remove the rubber band carefully and then use the hot glue gun to attached the very end of the wrapping down.

Where can I buy a new cushion for a papasan chair?

I have a papasan chair, it's one of those round adjustable wicker chairs that people have in their conservatories etc. I need a new cushion for it but can't find anywhere that sells them. The pier does sell them but they're £60 each plus £15 postage which is ridiculous!

Has anyone bought one elsewhere?

I had my cat do this to my sleeping bag. Theres a great product called Natures Miracle get the huge one gallon one and soak the pad from the chair with it and let it dry out side then wash with oxyclean in warm water. You must let it completely dry before you clean it for it to work. Now it may be less work to get a new cushion but that stuff does work.

Got some new chairs at P*ier One today while Chloe was in preschool. Did lots of other furlough & house shopping in the snow. Then Chloe & I had lunch & haircuts and came competent in to assemble the chairs and watch the snow!
