This "Morris" Chair is sized to yield comfort and luxury for your child's first 3 to 4 years. The Arts and Crafts intentions is known as "four square", where it is as wide as it is deep. This mould lends itself very well to infants because it is very sturdy and difficult to tip. This is a real, heavy, wide and deep chair. The chair measures: 16" comprehensive x 18" deep and 20" tall. The, upholstered, swear in (11 ½ x 11 ½) is 6" high at the front and angles down to 5 ¼" at the back. The back can be placed in 4 manifold positions, from straight up to appox. 45°. The first three positions are controlled by two oversized doltish, moveable, pegs. The last, fully reclined disposition is arrived at by leaving the back rest on the permanently mounted, aegis, pegs. The classic design and overall manner makes this chair a welcome addition to, most, any style of living close. You children can now feel more like part of the family with a chair that is as well turned out as the big people's chairs.

Does anyone know a good source on line or in California for heavy duty (translation kid and pet resistant) futon covers?
The Futon and chair are Mission Style and I am looking for a heavy weight tapestry in a William Morris type print like the futon cover LLBean has on their futon ( unfortunately they do not have a matching chair cover.
Thanks for any and all help!
I should add that although I am a really good seamstress, I am in between sewing machines so making the covers is not an option at this time. Thank's for the good idea though krissyde.

I know all to well about trying to get matching items. :(
Have you considered making your own (or have someone make it for you if you are not so inclined).
They have many great stain resistant tapestry fabrics available and you can pick whatever suits you. It would be a simple project.

I need 2 box cushions 550mm x 650mm x 100mm and 510mm x 730mm x 100mm. I have the leather but not the foam or dacron. I thought about making them myself but after 3 months building a morris chair i want it to look really good as i may sell it.

Does anyone know how much it would cost and where to get it done for a reasonable price?
