Adroit for the office, home, and automobile, this large massage mitigate has 10 motors that provide five different massage actions to five fullness areas: neck, upper back, midback, lumbar district, and thighs (two motors per area). It can also provide warmth for the back with or without a massage. (For safety, heat won't go on unless pressure is applied to the pad.) To select all the options, there's a control wand with a backlit LCD camouflage that fits into a side pocket. Those options include tapping massage and sequencing the motors to run in up-and-down, ripple, or random patterns as well as in the all-motors-on mode. The motors can be set to run at two speeds and two intensities, and a timer can be set for 10, 20, or 30 minutes.

The reduce can be plugged into a wall socket with an AC adapter or into an automobile lighter with a DC adapter. (Both adapters are included.) Adjustable straps deny it snugly to any seat. Filled with soft lather (with extra pads for the neck and lumbar precinct), the cushion has a black, simulated-suede pass that can be cleaned with a damp sponge. The cushion measures 44 inches top to bottom, 19-1/2 inches wide of the mark at the seat, and about 3 inches at its thickest parts, and folds for firm storage. It carries a three-year warranty against defects. --Fred Brack

What is the best portable massage chair on the market?

I need a portable massage chair to use at an office to give short massages. I have used the Stronglite brand and found that it is ok, but I do not like how difficult it is to put back in the case. I think the other brand I have used was Ergo Lite (?) and it didn't feel stable enough. I want something light weight, stable, easy to set up and break down, and hopefully under $500. Any suggestions are welcome even if they aren't completely perfect.

Oakworks. They have the best design, best construction, best quality and best ease of use. They cost a little more and weigh slightly more comparatively, but you will enjoy the stability, durability and ease of adjustments it offers. I believe most are under $500 if you don't get too crazy with upgrades of vinyl, padding or accessories.

You may even be able to find a discounted product from the factory, or a "pre-owned" version on auction sites. Buyer beware, though.

have you tried looking at rite aid?they have pretty good ones, not even expensive

What brand and model of massage chair would you recommend?

Looking into a massage chair but have no idea what brand or model is reliable and economic.

    Panasonic?

What was the name of that chinese/japanese massage chair they used to sell in Debenhams/John Lewis?

It basically straps on to the chair and gives a really god back massage

    Thanks for your help?

they are shiatsu massargers they come in many forms......

    and yes they are great!!!!!

What recliner massage chair is cheapest, and still good?

I want to... possibly purchase a recliner massage chair.
So I was wondering which one is cheap, yet really good?
    Help!

I wouldn't buy a massage chair, but instead a chair insert. If you want a recliner, then buy a recliner and add the chair insert.

Here's the best line I have found for the money.. Homedics.
    http://www.homedics.com/products/massage/back-massage-cushions

    I have personally used the Shiatsu1 and Shiatsu+ (SBM-300H).

The Shiatsu action can be too deep, but if you want relief, it is by far the best relief available. And you can adjust your body to increase and decrease the pressure. If you like massagers that just vibrate, they have them as well. But I found the vibration creates temporary relief and the Shiatsu lasting relief.

Is it okay to use massage chair when pregnant?

I was just sitting here and suddenly remembered that we do have a massage chair with built in heating pad in the back bedroom and I was just wondering if it would be safe to use. I am wondering more about the heating pad because it does get pretty hot...I am 28 weeks pregnant and do have a low lying placenta (marginal). Just looking to ease the back pain a little but not at the cost of harming myself or my baby...

I'd ask your doctor (since you have the low lying placenta)...I used a massage chair quite a bit when I was pregnant with the heat (Id let it heat up then turn it off and turn it back on when it cooled)....ask your doctor though
