Looks nice, easy to assemble, comfortable, narrow chairs
The two chairs look as nice assembled as they do in the picture.

Package includes everything you need for assembly except a phillips head screwdriver. Assembly took about 15 minutes in total. Chairs seem sturdy when assembled. All parts included, and the items were well packaged / arrived without any damage.

We use these around a breakfast table that usually seats 4 people but could seat 6. We bought two of them as a trial because they are narrow and would allow for 6 chairs to be placed around the table but still looked comfortable. We will order four more because they exceeded our expectations in comfort and looks.

The Price is Right. So is the design.
These Parson chairs are great for the price, averaging roughly $65 per chair after shipping etc. 2 out of the 4 chairs I ordered aren't completely level. You may want to consider getting a can of cherry finish to polish over leg defects in the wood, and replace the cheap plastic feet with something from Home Depot or Lowe's. I like Parson chairs because they offer real back support, unlike the many aesthetically pleasing dining chairs out there that have wooden or metal back support beams. They look very professional. Leather seating in one continuous piece means the chairs are really easy to clean and stain-proof, unlike fabric cushioned chairs with fancy etchings and beams. You can mix and match these nice chairs with many a dining set.

Beautiful-but has formaldehyde warning
I wanted to give this 5 STARS, but there is a formaldehyde warning label underneathe the chair cushions. I researched it online and there are a bunch of websites on the subject, which can be something to be careful of. I'm not that concerned because there is minimal wood exposure, in the legs. And, apparently, a lot of furniture has formaldeyde in it and there are no warning labels,

Otherwise, these chairs are really beautiful, great quality, easy to put together, and VERY COMFORTABLE for both my and husband and myself. The price is incredible for what you get.

Fast Assembly, Good Looking
After receiving shipment, I set about assembly. The back and seat are preassembled, so no worries there. The legs were easy to figure out. Each had a slight angle which meant that the downward angle goes to the rear of the seat and the lower dowel hole goes to the inside. Using an Stanley Ratcheting screw driver, assembly only took 45 mins. to an hour to have all four chairs together. I don't advise using a power driver unless you want split wood. These chairs matched my existing table of metal and wood combo quite nicely making a country style set without the expense. I have had these chairs for a couple of months now and I check for them coming loose. No problems there. Only down side is the directions, but common sense will help you with these.
They are very sturdy and fit well in any decor. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a good set of chairs.

Never buy these chairs!
Chairs arrived damaged due to very poor and primitive packaging (chairs wrapped up in plastic bags without any cushion or bubble wraps in between). Assembled one of the undamaged chairs and one of its legs was cracked after one use. Tried to contact them for a refund but never got any response in return. Terrible experience! Should have never bought these chairs from them.

Kitchen Chairs
The chairs were a perfect match for my kitchen nook. I have received several complements on them. The delivery was slower than promised by about a week. They were relatively easy to assemble. However, the screw caps keep poping out - I guess they will need to be glued, and some of the chairs are already starting to wobble. I'm hoping some glue will help with this problem too.

Sturdy affordable chairs
Both chairs are sturdy and solid...no squeeking or wobbling. The natural finish is nice because it fits with any decorating style. Sturdy!
I purchased these based on all those wonderful Amazon.com reviews. I love the chairs - the price was right - much less than sold for in the big box stores and the quality is great. Delivery was prompt - came in one very large box and best of all - No Assembly Required. Actually, I like this chair style much better than the ones that came with my kitchen set. Now lets see how long it takes my visiting grandchildren to destroy these - that will be the real test! If they manage to do so at this price, I'll just buy two more.

I live in houston, Tx. Where is a good place to have my chair to my dining table set fixed. One of the legs are broken on my chair. It is made from cherry wood.

If you were a DIY perhaps Hide Glue and predrill bit and a 2" Screw could do the trick depending where the chair broke.

A dowel may be needed if cracked at the base.

Can't help you with Houston Texas other than say the Phone Book Yellow Pages.

What's the best way to secure a seat cushion to a dining chair?

This is a typical high back dining chair - no arm rests. The cushion is mounted on wood and it is the size of the chair and not meant to be removed. Somehow it came off and I don't see how it was mounted. I don't see any glue residue or anything like that. Is it OK to glue it on by gluing the underside of the seat cushion (wood) to the top of the chair rails? What kind of adhesive should I use?

Usually, there are corner blocks with screws up from the bottom into the wood. Often the hole becomes enlarged and the screws loosen, or in extreme cases, fall out. This is the standard way they are attached. Though today, I saw some with metal brackets into the rails and seat bottom.

Whatever you do, you want it to be reversible so you can recover or repair the pad seat at some point in the future. So screws, not nails or glue.

What should I do to seal the black leather insert on an antique oak dining chair?

I have an antique oak T back dining chair with a padded black leather insert in the seat. The leather is definitely worn and the padding is flattened, but it's not in terrible condition. The problem is that the black color of the leather keeps coming off, thus making the seat unusable (unless you want a black backside). Is there any way I can seal the leather so that I can sit on it again?

There are fabric sealers and dyes you can purchase at fabric stores. The dye along with polish should solve your problem . Otherwise if its worn too bad last resource would be to reupholster

I have off white or cream colored dining chairs that have fabric seats.. friends kids came over and spilled coke and juice i think on all 4!! they have been this way for a few months now and i just cant stand to look at them anymore.. any suggestions on how to clean them? i dont have a carpet shampoo machine and i dont have any like upholostry cleaner.. anything i can make from common household cleaners?? thanks!
