Not worth the money.
This seat cover is not worth buying because it only has two chair leg ties at the front and not the back. When you sit down on it, it slides off the seat constantly from the back. Sure the cover looks nice, but its a headache to keep situated on the chair as you sit on it. Save your money, don't buy.

A must if you have children!
Being a mom of two toddlers, I covered my dining room chairs with the plastic chair covers but hated how uncomfortable they were to sit on. I found these and put them over the plastic covers, so that the chairs would still be protected from saturated spills. This works great! The chairs look beautiful and I know that with the plastic cover underneath, they are protected. They are much more comfortable to sit on with bare legs, no sticking. My girls can sit on their knees and don't complain. The burgundy is a true burgundy, not red like it looks in the picture. Very nice.

Finally a real solution!
My seat covers arrived today and I couldn't wait to get one on to try it out. I was instantly pleased with my purchase. I've spent the last year fighting those vinyl tie-on covers to protect our cloth seats from our young children's (3 yrs old and 1 yr old) spills and messes. The vinyl covers have saved us a handful of times, but they're a hassle because they don't stay in place and the vinyl straps break off, leaving the covers to fall off the chairs constantly. On top of that, my 1-year-old likes to sit under the chairs and chew on the vinyl - not a good thing. Anyway, I positioned my old vinyl covers so they can protect my chairs from wet spills and attached these seat covers over top of the vinyl covers. The cloth covers hold the vinyl in place and they actually stay put on the chair. Now I have covers that don't look so tacky and will be effective (with the vinyl under layer) at staying in place and protecting my chairs. I also love that they're machine washable - thank you!! At long last we have seat covers that look nice AND are effective!

i will buy again
I bought these to protect my dining chair seats from kid spills. Prior to this, I tried padded tie-on seat cushions but those made the chairs too high. I also tried vinyl seat covers but my kids and I found them uncomfortably hot and sticky. These cloth seat covers are the ones I like the best. They cover the seats quite well, absorb small spills, and stay in place because of the little ties and the velcro strap in the back. They don't fit my chairs perfectly, but the material has a little bit of stretch so they fit well enough to look decent. I put them on for regular use, and take them off when we have company. I've washed them twice so far and they seem to be standing up reasonably well. I put a square of waterproof pad underneath (the kind of fabric used for a crib mattress pad) to prevent larger spills from leaking through to the seat cushion.

Stackable Chair Covers
Awesome and well worth the money. I think the cover will hold up for a long time. The cover is thick and well constructed and will actually fit 7 or 8 stackable chairs, depending on the size of the chair. I was really impressed with the quality of this cover.

not worth the price with shipping
I bought them and plan on returning them. They are so thin I put pulled my finger firmly across one and it began to stretch, which would have ripped if I had continued. The notches that are cut out on the back leave too much of the cushion still exposed. If I would have found them in the store, I probably would keep them. But to end up paying $15 once you add shipping, its not worth it.

Cheap and not worth the money
These are the cheapest things in the world. The plastic is very thin and rips at the slightest pressure. Plus, they aren't as large as regular chair covers and don't cover the whole chair. Don't waist your money.

Not a good choice
Bought in April '09. In less than a year, I noticed yesterday that the top is dry rotted and ripped. It has been in the NJ elements for 10 months, but I would have expected a longer life than this. Also, it is water repellent, not water proof. I often found my chair pillows very wet after rain. My next cover will be more of a plastic type than this cloth material. This seems to be a better cover if your chairs will be in the garage - or at least under an awning or in the shade.

Tip 1: If you don’t have a broad dining itemization, rent one on a Sunday vespers all the time. Sunday nights are the most price-effective nights to rip party décor. Only rental two rounds of ten or an elongated listing with no linen. (Lift sure you split chairs, too.) Ask the circle what their delivery obligation is. Ask them if they will waive the set-up claim if they drop off, as you have a decorator coming in to set. (Note: don’t admit them you’re the decorator!) This tip can set apart you up to $250 with the Sunday rental and waiving the set-up fee.

Tip 2: Do not lavish money on precious d é cor! Non-Standard real, it is an industry of mostly devil-may-care markups. Walmart has some horrible tablecloths. One I counsel is $16. Get a logical holiday color like country-like. Green goes with Thanksgiving and can be reused at Christmas. Burgundy also works well. Reinforcement away from dead white — it says niggardly, uncreative, and shows every besmirch.

Normally at a regale hall, you would desideratum floor-to-tabletop linen with corresponding chair covers and ties. For an at-available event, most people know they are not going to a meal hall and will put in more time looking at the provisions and conversing then they will staring at chair covers. However, one sound idea is to have the kids deliver chair slipcovers. i would think that you could steam them, depending on the thickness of the fabric. you could try just throwing them in a dryer with a wet towel

I want to make self tie chair covers myself. I imagine that they are shaped much like oversized pillow cases that reach from the top of the chair to the floor. The the top corners of the pillow case are tied in the back. Is this correct? Has anyone seen them out of the package before they are on the chair? Thanks so much.

Do they just make the chair cover? I mean the chair right now has a zipper like it comes off. I cant find any sites that sell just the covers and not the whole chair.
