Great Chair!!
I had seen a chair like this in a store, but this one exceeded my expectations! Great comfortable chair, now if it would only warm up in FL so I can use it!
Hover Mode is Amazing
This chair is absolutely amazing. "Kick back in luxurious comfort" is an understatement! I literally hover in mid-air whenever I recline in this chair. There are no noisy fans, motors, or electrical components like you would find in similar gravity-defying chairs. How does this thing work!? I don't know, but whether supine or prone, my body just hovers nearly a foot above the chair, just like that fashionable chap in the product images. My one complaint though, and my reason for not giving it five stars, is that the antigravity properties of this chair do not engage when I am carrying it for sitting on it. Though resting comfortably in the air is well worth fifty dollars, a newer model that allows you to float through the air in a standing or sitting position would be a wonderful improvement.
Nice Surprise!
I was dubious and only ordered one to test out. But it is super comfortable and seems plenty light when carried as a backpack. There's lots of room in the pack too. The chair itself feels sturdy but, as other reviews have stated, the footstool does not feel strong, so we'll be careful with it. Also, the footstool could not double as a table - the platform does not lock solidly into position but is wobbly. It would be fine for a book, but you definitely wouldn't want to set a drink on it. Since I didn't purchase it with the idea of using the footstool that way, I didn't detract any stars for it. My husband, who was even more dubious than I, almost fell asleep while "testing" it. He thinks that being low to the ground will make it a perfect fishing chair. By the way, we're both under 5'8" and I can see how taller person might not find it as comfortable as we did. But we're tickled with it, and I'm ordering another one today.
Best Portable Chair EVER !!!!!
This is the absolute creme-de-la-creme of portable chairs. I purchased these for my parents for Christmas and they were delighted. My husband and I have the same ones and they had long admired them (and often sat in them). We have had ours for over 3 years and we LOVE them. They are very sturdy, so I didn't worry at all about giving one to my Dad, who's 6'5" tall and over 200 lbs. They are rated to 230 lbs., and I suspect this is somewhat conservative. The construction is strong and yet they are quite light and very comfortable to wear with the easily adjustable, well-padded straps. As an added bonus, the backpack on the back of the chair is HUGE! You can easily fit an entire daypack into it and still have room for an extra pair of shoes, perfect for a day at a festival or the beach.

The footrest is very comfortable, but is also removable if you have limited space (fits into the backpack for storage). I've even let friends who were sitting in front of me use it as a backrest at concerts (although I've sometimes wondered if that would break it, it hasn't yet). The chair also has a tilt feature, you simply lift up on the armrests slightly and it slides back (the chair is pictured here in full recline). With the chair tilted back all the way and your feet up, you can easily take a very satisfying nap, just make sure to wear sunscreen if you fall asleep in the sun! Oh, and it also has an adjustable head rest built in, I mean come on, how clever are these people?

The only possible improvements I could make to this chair (are you listing Wear-Ever peeps?) would be to have cup holders on both sides (I mean, why not, right?). I would also like to see them offer some type of sun-shade accessory that would clip to it, that would be sweet! Otherwise it's basically the perfect chair. The only problem I've ever had with it is that it's so perfect that I often return from a trip to the bathroom or the beer tent to find it has been commendeered by a friend, and because I know how comfortable it is I often don't have the heart to kick them out!

Oh, and last but maybe most important, this chair is low enough to meet the requirements for concerts and other venues where only low-backed chairs are allowed. I hope I hit all the points, maybe they should hire me to write their ads, I do love my WearEver chair! (CAUTIONARY NOTE: I have seen the regular WearEver Chairs without the footrest at Walgreens (which is where I got mine) and they are MUCH more cheaply made than the Deluxe one, it's not just that they don't have the footrest, the metal is thinner, the fabric is flimsy, the arm rests aren't as wide or well finished, I would not recommend getting the regular chair, pay the extra money and get this one, it rocks!).
Cadillac of beach chairs!!!
I heart this beach chair! It is outstanding. It is so comfortable and also very easy to carry. The footrest and cupholder are what really strengthened my love of this chair. You won't regret this purchase--you will only regret that you didn't buy two!

Awesome Chair!
This is an awesome chair. It's light weight and it keeps you cool in the shade!
I'm gonna get another!!!
JUST WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR
My in-laws LOVE the beach - this was the PERFECT Christmas gift for them - it is lightweight enough to carry onto the beach. And you don't need an umbrella and a chair - it is all there! They LOVED this gift!
Good chair - if it ain't windy
I really enjoy the chair - protects from harmful UV rays and provides cooling shade. The canopy is highly unstable in the wind, and can flap down and hit you in the head during a gust. Not going to cause injury, but definitely an annoyance.

I've had the chair for 2 years, and after about a year of use, the seams on the canopy (that support the canopy as it attaches to the chair) have ripped and worn in several places, it's not unusable, but definitely on it's last legs. I've enjoyed it while it worked, and when it wasn't windy.

The chair also sits pretty low to the ground and can be tough to get out of if you have bad knees or back, or you're carrying around a little bit of extra weight.
So bad it didn't last one day
It looks pretty cool but unfortuanetely the canopy is just a mess to deal with.
mine did not last one day, I was trying to fold it using the instructions but it seems I did it to hard, and the metal thing just rip off the folding.
the canopy is just 16 dollars so it's not reasonable to pursue any replacements or fight for the garantee.
Overall you go better buying an umbrella and a chair independently.
Great Beach Chair!
This chair is extremely comfortable, and supports my neck/head (I'm 6'2"). It seem's reasonable stable and sturdy. Some reviewers mentioned tipping if you lean to one side, which is true due to the design, but not a problem. Others mentioned an arm extension breaking - These may break if a heavy person placed all their weight on them, but they are fine for a little assistance getting up (I weigh 200). The canopy sets up easily and works well, although it does move around when the wind picks up, and will catch the wind and turn an empty chair over. The chair is low to the ground, which is great for the beach, but may not be desired at other events. Overall, an easy to carry & set up beach chair that is extremely comfortable.

BEST LITTLE BEACH CHAIR
Great litle chair, well made for the price, the umbrella is a great added feature.

I purchased 3 of these chairs blue, pink and purple for a trip to the outerbanks last summer

The chair folded and stored easily and my 2 yr old daughter and her 3 & 4 year old cousins loved them.

I would recommend this chair to a friend and I am sure we will get lots more use out of ours this summer. In the backyard, the beach or even at the pool these chairs are perfect!
Spring here we come
This was a gift for my grandson. He climbed in it immediately.I can hardly wait for pool and beach time
Love the redman chair
The chair was great for our recent beach trip. My 2 1/2 year old loved the color and comfort. The attached umbrella provided nice shade.
adorable
The chair is very sweet. I bought it for my goddaughter's first birthday. She loves it. It looks to be well made.
Great little chair
Very cute chair. Sturdy, good price, and an added plus is the umbrella. My 16 month old loves to sit in it, just like a grownup. Also has a little storage pouch. Easy to fold up, though I think I remember it being a little tricky to open and close the umbrella. We got it at the end of the season, so we only used it 3-4 times. After researching in the stores and online, this was the best for the money.

Customer Reviews

beach chair
We took these chairs on vacation with us and they were great! I loved having the covering in the hot sun. They were very easy to unfold. Carrying them like a backpack was nice since we had so much to lug down to the beach everyday. I would definitly recommend these chairs.
Kelsyus Beach Chair
I like the chair but there are couple of concerns.
The chair is heavier that I thought it would be and some of the stitching is already starting to pull away.
I spent over $ 50.00 for this item and I am disappointed.
Kelsyus canopy chair
I love my chair! Great for swim meets or for the swimming pool where you sit in the sun for many hours. The chair is comfortable and low to the ground. The canopy is easy to set up, you just lift it from behind the chair. The chair will not fall over in the wind. The arm rests are metal, so they get hot in the sun. I cover them with a towel to avoid that problem. To me, not having wooden arm rests is an advantage: I can let it stand in the rain and not have to put it away until the rain stops. A cup holder would be nice, but it doesn't have one. All in all, I am very happy with the chair.
RECLINER is heavy but good
Although this RECLINER is a bit heavy to carry long distances, I am very happy with my purchase overall. It is well built and easy to operate. Note: This is not a chair for those that like to sit upright! The manual ratchet system has various slots for reclining positions only.
Sturdy, but could be better
I bought this chair for a Florida trip. The chair is much heavier than other beach chairs, but the backpack straps helps when carrying in the sand. The canopy will not shield the sun on your legs unless you have the chair lined up correctly with the sun at your back. They could have improved the chair by adding wooden arms and a cup holder. Also, the chair does not have a straight sitting position. The first position is slightly reclined. Sometimes you want to sit up straight; this chair does not have that setting.

All in all, it is a good sturdy chair, but for the price I believe they could work on making some improvements.

Kingston: Trading Beach Chairs for Bar Stools

I’d positioned myself on a red barstool beside the mosaic-tiled infinity group. At the table beside me, two South American traffic travelers , ties loosened, were tearing into a course of jerk chicken and drinking Red Stripes. It seemed almost picturesque. I ordered a more stylish combination: one stained martini and one sushi unfold made with smoked marlin and ackee, Jamaica’s butter-textured governmental fruit. I chatted with the locals about vocation and politics, drank in the breathtaking vista of the Gloomy Mountains and relished a muted symphony of car horns, reggae snippets and active chitchat emerging from the decisive boulevard below.

If this upset seems to defy the prevalent image of Kingston, it isn’t the only one. These days Kingston is filled with stereotype-busting options for travelers looking for a new, more trustworthy Jamaican adventure. At Pure — a new, gleaming oyster-white lounge with chiffon draperies and V.I.P. skyboxes — techno music trumps reggae. At the newly opened 107-dwelling Spanish Court Tourist house , home of the Sky Bar, the corridor makes one conjecture if SoHo has been transported to the Caribbean . Withdraw wicker and florals; take up bean-shaped dead white leather sofas, organism-print accents and jatobá-wood floors.

For most travelers, of seminar, Kingston stereotypes are impertinent. They would no sooner upon vacationing there than they would in, say, the Gaza Peel off. Gang-associated violence has plagued Kingston’s so-called garrison communities since the 1970s, and the territory’s boisterous murder assess, though it almost never affects tourists, is a persuasive deterrent. So is the very urban-ness of the stick, which stubbornly refuses to authorize for beach chairs, cover drinks or “Jamaica, Mon” T-shirts.

Anyone know how to get a green beach chair on maple island?

this is in maplestory, and ive heard you can get a green beach chair on maple island. anyone know what quest to do/where to get one?

In maple island, there is a quest called pio and the recycling in ameherst.Do the quest, talk to him again, and then you will get the chair as a reward. It recovers 50hp in 10 secs when you sit on it.(it is untradeable)

*If you are in victoria island already, then you can get a chair in the lith harbor armor store.(blue colour) but it has a slower recovery rate than the chair offered in maple island.

Where can I buy or rent a cheaper beach lounge chair and umbrella in Waikiki?

I'm on a two week vacation in Waikiki with a senior as a travel companion. He is not able to get up from lying down on the sand, but he can manage to get up if he's lying on a beach lounge chair - one of the long chairs, with the reclining back. He enjoys himself on the beach if we rent a beach chair and umbrella from one of the resort hotels - but that costs $20 per day. Is there anyplace I can get a large beach umbrella and lounge chair for cheaper - either to buy or to rent? The ABC stores sell just those tiny little chairs that are couple inches off the ground. He needs something higher and sturdier than that. Any ideas? Thanks!

The ABC stores can be really helpful. But i understand a couple things in there are a little cheap and all. But in some "fancy" hotels there are a couple of lounge chairs. But lets be honest nothing in wiakiki is cheap! I went last year when i was 12 with a couple of friends and we just layed on our beach towls. But if that dosnet sattisfie you you can go to a very hidden sams club and buy a little chair. I hope my answer helped you! Have a good time!

can you bring a beach chair to a public park to tan?

is it possible to bring a beach chair to a public park with a field to tan? and if so which parks are in Queens, NY that i can go tan?

Sure...why not! :)

To that you have MANY parks in Queens though Flushing-Meadows is the big park there.

What would I need to do to sell advertising space on my beach chair ?

I have shops renting beach chairs. My beach chairs are rented fully daily and demand is picking up progressively on the most popular beach on the island. Am think it is a good time to earn another income stream by selling ad space on my chairs. Not sure how to go about

You need to develop a marketing strategy and an implementation schedule.

I specialize in small business strategy and would love to help, although I couldn't do it for free. Because I specialize in small business, my fees are very low and reasonable (usually 7.5% of your new business that results from my efforts.)
