Incorrect Info
I purchased this item specifically because Amazon showed that it holds up to 315 pounds. When I was unpacking it, the manufacture tag states "holds up to 300 lbs." I have gone ahead an used it - hoping it will hold me (305 lbs).

Shower Chair
Overall I really have liked this chair. Five weeks ago I tore a tendon in my left leg and have had to keep in straight ever since surgery. This chair has been the only way that I can get into the shower by myself. The only two parts I don't like are the fact that the back comes out to far so I just removed it and use the back of the shower so that I have more space. The other is that the side handles are too flimsy and colapse under my weight. There fore I have to use the shower door to pull myself up. However, I am 6'4" and 240 lbs, so take that into account. I must say that this chair has made my life much easier in a difficult and frustrating time.

Very adequate
I ordered this chair for my mother because I worry about her falling in the tub. The chair is quite adequate for its intended purpose; it has plenty of height adjustability, the back is removable, it's pretty light weight, but sturdy. You can't beat it for the price, and Amazon delivers promptly!

Sturdy, well designed shower chair
I purchased this chair recently because I am unable to stand long enough to take a shower. My order arrived quickly and I was very pleased with this product. It is very stury and well designed. The chair has several height adjustments and they are easy to change. I liked the fact that the chair is concave and has slots for the shower water to drain. One can easily remove the back, if desired, and the chair can readily be moved by using the hand slots in the seat.
I have only positive things to say about this shower bench. I would highly recommend it to anyone without reservations.

perfect choice
I shipped this to my grandparents in a rural area. It was much cheaper and it arrived quicker than trying to find any such medical supply near their home.
