Good for great price
This chair was easy to assemble, looks great, and was a better price than anywhere else I could find. I will agree with other comments that the chair is more a yellowy cream than a white. That works for our room, but its a good detail to know. So far we love it.

Color off, otherwise great purchase
The box was really beat up when it arrived, so I was worried about damage to the chair. However, the pieces inside were very carefully wrapped and in perfect shape. Found the instructions and putting together very easy. Solid, nice chair for the price. Only complaint is I was hoping for pure white, and it is more a cream/yellowy white color.

Not white--- Very yellowish-cream
Everything was great about this chair: the price, free Super Saver Shipping, packaged perfectly, arrived without a scratch, easy to assemble. But the problem is, this chair is not white as described. It's a very yellow cream.

We have a kinfolk room with a negligible couch and two disassemble arm chairs with ottomen. When visitors standstill over, they are reluctant to sit in the chairs with the ottomen. The apartment is not big enough to put the ottomen "out of the way." What do you mention? Thank you!

Terri Sapienza: I don't cogitate on I understand. Your guests won't sit in your chairs that have an ottoman in front of them? Do you discern why? Maybe you could sit in one and others will take your clear the way.

I necessity help choosing a bathroom adscititious. I am purchasing a bulkhead-mounted accordion fashion magnifying reproduction for my tiny grasp bath. The drizzle doors are perfect brass, and the other fixtures are two-accent brass and refined chrome (faucets, conceitedness light, towel bars, knobs). I can't find the accordion depict in two-tone or even rudeness. Do you think a chrome accordion repeat would look unusual? It will be mounted next to a Robern frameless beveled recessed medication cabinet. I'm purchasing the accordion reflector online and won't be masterful to compare before I buy it. Thanks.

What should I do to seal the black leather insert on an antique oak dining chair?

I have an antique oak T back dining chair with a padded black leather insert in the seat. The leather is definitely worn and the padding is flattened, but it's not in terrible condition. The problem is that the black color of the leather keeps coming off, thus making the seat unusable (unless you want a black backside). Is there any way I can seal the leather so that I can sit on it again?

There are fabric sealers and dyes you can purchase at fabric stores. The dye along with polish should solve your problem . Otherwise if its worn too bad last resource would be to reupholster

Antique leather with cracks, anyone out there with advice?

I have some nice old chairs with embossed leather seats, they were cracked so I removed the leather and backed it with canvas and replaced, the leather holds together now but the cracks still show, is there anything I can use to fill the cracks that you know of?

My Aunty and Uncle were an oddball couple... always going to fancy dress parties in the most outrageous costumes... but they had an old leather chair.. but now that I know what it is... and how best to use it... I want one just like it. Does anyone know if you can still get them or will I have to get it custom made:

It's a low wide leather chair with long arms.. the arms are very long... they extend out so that you can rest one foot on each side and still grip for all you are worth to the handles with your hands. Apparently they don't use these stylish chairs any more in gynochologist's offices.
LOL... Somehow I don't think a man of any kind was ever in contemplation for the design of this particular chair.

Well, I love antiques, but the arms on the love lounge chair might be too long for what I think your planning to use it for.

You really don't need the arms on the chair, unless your planning to eat and watch tv on it, among other things. A grandpa chair would be best for that, unless your willing to spend some monies on the antique.

If you want an old leather chair, just go to the nudist beach and look for the walruses................but if you insist on leather I can always wear some for you. I'm not an old antique, but I CAN BE YOUR CHAIR!!!!!

If not, try the beauty salons where the old ladies get their hair done. They've got some great recliners!!!!

I want to sell them for the best possible price, i have looked at the Laura Ashley site, and brand new, they are between £600-£1,000 EACH. I did get a valuer to come & see them from my local Auction Rooms, he immediately informed me they are worth money, but advised me to sell them privately rather than auction them off. I have not got a clue what to sell them for - or where to advertise them?? Can any1 help me please???
