Most of the home improvement centers can special order what you are looking for...they're called single swing French or patio doors.

My style for the room is casual traditional. I like my faux 2" wood blinds on other windows, but not sure they'd work well on the french doors - maybe a thinner slat? I also like the look of some roller shades...any ideas?
It depends on how much you want to block the light and or the view. I have some french doors and a lot of windows in my house but I like the open view. I just had some solar shade window tinting installed on all the windows in the house to protect the hardwood floors and furniture. I'm happy with how it turned out. They also have privacy tint where no one can see in the I had done in the bathroom. Check it out.
I have french doors with levers instead of knobs that extends in front of the glass..I want to put enclosed door blinds in but the space between the lever and the window is 1/4 inch too small..Is there such a thing as a lever door handle extender to give me more space for my blinds to fit? and where would I find these?
They do not make a door handle extender. Many of these handles can be swapped out with a regular door knob. Do you have any other doors that do not have lever locks but the same brand of lock assembly? If so exchange the levers with the knobs and you will have solved the problem.
Door has window panes covering whole door to the floor. One door opens, other door doesn't. Cats have destroyed all the mini blinds I have put up, wanting to look out. I can't get rid of cats. I don't want doors left uncovered for anyone to see in.
Currently have curtain toppers and mini blinds up.
Sheers work really well, both for filtering the light and for keeping the cats at bay. Cats don't like getting their nails caught in sheer material and they'll stay away after the first tangle.
The den has a cut out door with pass through windows on either side of it. I'd like to make the room double as a den/office/spare guest room and need ideas on how to enclose it in without actually closing the space in. I was considering a cafe door or informal french doors and plantation blinds for the window cut outs. Does this make sense for an interior room with no "true" windows? Any suggestions would be appreciated!
1] do french doors with multiple panes - you can even get sliding [ pocket ] ones!
2] mount blinds above doors/windows, for privacy when needed.
