i got a pure wool bed set from benidorm a few years ago so warm but it said never wash it just hoover?
and put out to air now and then.any one had similar and have you washed the douve at all
See how the hovering thing works out if it still does not feel clean take it to the dry cleaners, they dont let you wash it because i will shrink and crinkle if you do it yourself normally, ps what was benidorm like i am thinking of going :)
I would see if it could be dry cleaned. Surely it would need to be at some point.
I would throw it away after one season if you cannot wash it. Mind you you can get them dry cleaned
I see the only 2 said to get it Dry Cleaned....Now I seen on 60 Mintues,they was doing something about Dry Cleaners..One of the Top Dry Cleaners in New York said nothing is dry Cleaned...all of it is washed in one Big washer...Everybodys...Mine ,Yours,mutts & jeffs...so I would take it too a landermat that has a big washer & wash it...
A friend of mine bought one too. The worst thing you could do is wash it, as you will wash out all the natural properties of the wool and it will never be the same again.
Do as the instructions say vacuum it and when we get some nice warm weather put it out on the washing line for a day to air and when you fetch it back in it will smell wonderful.
If you take it to the dry cleaners you wil ruin it and it will smell of chemicals.

How can i wash my Wool quilt for my bed at home if it states Dryclean only???
I bought a wool quilt and didnt realise it states Dryclean only, It will cost me alot of money if i drycleaned it every couple of months so is there a way to wash it at home without damaging it or shrinking it??? Please Help......

don't wash it. it's a very bad idea.
i had a wool quilt that got soiled by my dog, and I tried rinsing it myself. It dried eventually but it shrunk and smelled as well.
