Customer Reviews
All right if you are never moving ever again
Had this bed for 6+ months now. It was a pain in the neck to put together, but it looked okay and the cats never got under it. The drawers were good for little things, but they're hard to pull out because there are no pulls and especially trying to open them from bed is really difficult. Also, it's a real shin bumper, but that's just the way beds like this are.
The really terrible thing, the reason I'm giving it one star, is that we just moved and it is physically impossible to put the drawers back in. When we put it together we put the drawers in before drilling the slats down on top(did I mention you need a drill??), and now they're out and will not go back in. Now it looks terrible and it's been really frustrating dealing with it; there's no reason these drawers shouldn't be plain and easy. But my husband and I are ready to trash it- the problem is getting it to the dumpster...

Exceeded expectations
After reading all the reviews already written, I have to say I was expecting this bed to be adequate, but not something I'd be excited about. I was also braced for the horribly written instructions everyone described.
Several people remarked on either missing parts (because they didn't understand) or the instructions not making it clear that the drawer slides had to be separated. I found the instructions quite clear on the matter. Not only did they explain that the slides needed to be separated, there's even a picture explaining how.
The bed is sturdy, and heavy enough not to go sliding all over the place, but still light enough to move if needed. The drawers are larger than they look in the picture, and quite strong, if a little tricky to assemble.
By myself, I built the entire thing in just over two hours. It looks phenomenal and really changes the mood of the room. I am more than happy with the bed. And let's face it, the price is amazing. If it ever breaks, I'll probably buy this exact same bed frame again.

Low quality, heavy and non-practical
Dissapointed. Spent hours setting this up. The bed is heavy which means you won't be able to clean underneath it, move it around, etc.
For a bed, this model uses a lot of unnecessary material.
We knew we were getting a cheap bed, but we were expecting something more functional

good bed, can be better
- no noticeable damage from shipping from east coast to west coast
- easier to assemble than the six-drawer dresser from the same company, but will take a couple of hours by a couple of people
- instructions are fine if you patiently figure out what is being done
- did not like the fact that I had to align the top boards using a piece of wood that they provided (!), I think it should have been done in a better way
- I wish the top board had been removable using nuts and bolts for moving. They are removable currently, but I think the holes in the particle board will weaken if removed and reassembled
- drawer slides are metal and excellent
- there is enough clearance to open the drawers on top of a carpet, but the drawer itself sits somewhat deep under the platform and is a little awkward to reach
- hard to reposition on carpet since it is heavy and low
- I have a queen mattress and there isn't much of the platform sticking out, so I think my shins will be mostly fine (the edges are sharp)
- I forgot to mention this in my other reviews, but it took a long time between when it says shipped by seller and when the tracking actually says left location (about 3-4 days if I remember), I used free super saver shipping
- deducting one star for the top board issues and shipping (I also wish they provided package measurements beforehand)
