How many inches high are the typical dorm bed?
I was wondering if the foot locker/trunks they sell will fit underneath a typical college dorm bed or if I would have to buy the "risers" to elevate the bed.
Trunk size is 31"X17"X 12 and 1/2 inches high.

I think the risers that elevate the bed are a good buy. I don't think your trunk will go underneath without them. We always needed to have them.
Is there any 6 bed dorm backpacker style accommodation in Malta?
Need to accommodate 5 people for 6 weeks in September/October 2009. Must be less than EU$900 per week. 6 bed backpacker dorm or a 2 Bedroom 3 Bed apartment with a couch or cot, anything in similar style. Please help.
There aren’t too many, but this is one I know of: The Hibernia House Hostel in Sliema ( http://www.hihostels.com/dba/hostel092065.en.htm ). It’s in a very central area, and shouldn’t be too expensive.
How to stop people from sitting on my dorm bed?
I'm a germ freak, I must feel clean in order to function. Maybe OCD...but anyways my roommate bring in a lot of people and they all sit on my bed and it irritates the **** outta me. Is there any ideas of what I can do to make my bed "less appealing" for strangers to want to lay/sit on it? That is of course without making it dirty.
Buy a chair or two and leave books and stuff on your bed.
