Not as shown
Photo shows a cream box with black piping. Since I was not asked to select a color during the ordering process I was surprised when they turned out to be black boxes with cream piping. Still a good value for the price though.
Great product!
I purchased this because I do not have a lot of storage options living in an apartment! This product is great for under-the-bed storage and is stylishe nough to actually have out in the open. I would recommend it to everyone! Nice price for what you get, too!
Great item for storage!
Good and easy to use. Spacious and saves lots of space. Tightly closed so no dust gets in.

How large is this box??? nobody knows
How can a seller list this item without noting the measurements of the box. Seriously??
Great size, easy access
This container works perfectly for my underbed storage. First bonus is the size - it's one of the largest underbed containers I could find. Also, the folding center on the cover is really helpful. Not having to pull the entire container out from under my bed to open it is really great. I keep one type of shoes on one side, and another on the other. I'm considering buying more!

Customer Reviews

Seriously!? Who works for this company?
No instructions - 12 RIGHT sides of the drawers and no left! are they kidding? HUGE gash on the bed - AND multiple smaller ones! This bed is all press board - the only wood are the flimsy pieces that hold the mattress in place- with a large gap. I can't image anyone getting intimate on this either - since it shakes when I roll over! I was really looking forward to the extra storage. I wish I had just purchased some risers and storage containers. The only part of this I like was the head board - which was also scratched. I'd return it if it wasn't such a pain in the ass to put together.
Nice looking bed, but horrible performance
In order to start with something positive, I have to admit that this bed looks nice and stylish, and it also has plenty of space in the drawers.
End of positive. Now the reasons why I hate this bed.
1. Bad customer service. We have ordered it on July 12th, it arrived on the 24th, however, half the way assembling it, we have discovered that it was missing a small part. Contacting prepac customer service was not easy (they did not pick up the phone and did not return voice mails either, so I just kept trying for 3 days and finally got in), and eventually I have gotten the part shipped on the 28th of July. It arrived only on the August 5th (no surprise - it was shipped from Canada to Florida using UPS ground!). On August 6th we have FINALLY finished an assembly (which by itself was not that hard, providing you have all the required details) and slept on it.
2. Too loud, unbelievably loud. Here goes: if you use the bed only and solely for sleep, it is ok. However, if you want to have a little fun, be prepared that the whole neighborhood will know about it because of the superloud squeaky sounds this bed makes. I am NOT a heavy person and my husband is not either. There is no way to avoid this nightmare. I would have returned this bed if I could, but it is super heavy and bulky, and I have no idea how I would disassembly it and ship back to amazon.
3. Sharp corners. My knees are all bruiced from hitting them. This is just a BTW kind of addition, this point have played no role in my low evaluation of this bed.
Summary: unless you intend to use this bed SOLELY for sleep, PLEASE do yourself a favor and DO NOT BUY this bed. I sincerely wish I have gone for a simple and cheap metal frame instead. I give it 2 stars ONLY because I like how it looks. I would rate its performance zero stars if I could. And also keep in mind that it may be missing something and half-assembled bed will be obstructing your livingroom or bedroom for a week, two weeks or longer until you get the missing part from prepac.
Perfect for us!
I have been reading some of the reviews about this platform bed and some people definitely are way too picky. First off this bed looks awesome when it is fully completed! If you can take your time and follow the directions this bed will go together perfectly. Everything fits together with no flaws when you do it right. All of the building is pretty basic, its just a lot of screwing screws. There was not one challenging part and the instructions were very well written and easy to understand with visuals. I put 2 corner braces (Top & Bottom) on each side just to give it some extra support and sturdiness.

The worst part about the bed were the pieces of wood that the actual mattress sits on. There was 9 long planks of wood that go vertically across. Personally I found them pretty cheaply made and decided to buy some plywood to cut out and place on top of it. Fixes any potential problems and gives a sturdier support for the mattress. The outside can scratch fairly easily, so just be careful when around it. We bought the headboard to go with it and it makes the entire bed look that much better!

We purchased this when it was on sale for $297 and for that price it can't be beat. There was a total of about 4-5 hours spent putting it together with one person. Your going to need a Phillips head screwdriver and hammer. Honestly the hardest part of this whole bed was breaking down the 3 boxes it all came in to throw into the trash. Those things were double or triple layered with cardboard box.

I definitely am glad I purchased this storage bed and it's exactly what I expected.

It's Ok
I bought this for the storage and the fact that it was a platform bed. But the drawers don't fit flush with the bed and you have to be VERY careful because the bottoms or really thin and cheap the "platform" is really just a bunch of boards that are to short and always shift around. So I am ALWAYS having to left the mattress up and move the boards back into place.
Platform Queen Bed
The bed fits are needs for the price, but you get what you pay for the material used is still out gasing and leaves a bad odor. The drawers work and look okay but will always have to be carefull pulling them out. The bed does look very nice with a queen mattress only no box springs needed.

Customer Reviews

Lasted 5 nights.
I used this mattress for family camping and took great care to make sure that there is no sharp objects underneath nor on top of the mattress every time. Was able to (manually) pump the mattress up to good firmness.

Just last week, the mattress started to leak air from the top of the mattress. The seams on the ring-like pattern ripped and lost all air. Good thing we had Therm-a-Rest as back-up.

Poor construction and poor durability.

Thumbs down.

Easy setup and roll up
Boought this item for a family camp out. It was pretty easy to fill with air. Held air all week long without any problems. When tear down started it was easy to roll up and put in the roll storage that is attached to it.
2 for 2 wont hold air.
I don't know if its a bad batch or what but within 3 hours of inflation it needs to be topped off again. This is with no weight on it at all. I returned that one for another and the same issue.
Coleman Quickbed fails
The first night the mattress lost some air, the second night I was on the floor in 4 hours. I checked all around with soapy water, the valve seemed OK and could not find a leak. However, it lost air just sitting around so I tossed it out. What a waste! I have an older one(green) which is still great, but too narrow. This one has thinner PVC and is made in China. I am going to TRY to find a brand not made in China. RIGHT!
Poor quality...stay away from buying this.
We bought two coleman air beds. One Queen size and the other twin size. Both are of poor quality. Queen one - two gone now. after first one's air leakage, we tried to return it but there was no return policy on that. Only replacement was entertained, so we got stuck with it and got a replacement. The second one has air leak now. Customer service is also very poor, nearly 45 mins of wait time and no response. I did not expect this from a company like Coleman. I don't know what to do other than putting it in trash. Twin one - first one was replaced due to the same reason as above. Have to wait and see when that will reach the same state.

Customer Reviews

Mediocre Bed
The bed looks nice but up close you can see you're buying a $100 bed. We had a previous bed set for our other child, which ran closer to $600. The difference is tremendous. While this bed does work, it looks teeny compared to the higher quality one, and everything feels a lot weaker. Mind you, it would hold up for a 2 year old as long as he or she is not jumping up and down on it. But it definitely won't take the weight of an adult leaning on it at all. The veneer is very thin as well. It's a simple toddler bed and you get what you pay for. It's much nicer than similar priced ones in the store, and it took about an hour to assemble. But it's nowhere in comparison to the higher end furniture.
SOLID? Oh no!
The word SOLID cannot be associated with Dream On Me. I purchase this toddler bed from Baby's R uS and hated it from day one. I tried to like but as I was putting it together it just felt flimsy and later I would find out how dangerous it would become. I almost cracked a rib kissing my little one good night on his first night transitioning from the crib to this bed as the footboard snapped off and the remaining jagged edge meeting my rib cage. A very traumatizing event for my sons first night on his new bed. Till this day, he keeps reminding us of "daddy's booboo" because after many tries to get the foot board replaced, the pieces just don't align at all. Thus we still have that jagged edge (TRUE STORY). UPDATE: 8 months later the side rail has cracked. Going to try the P'kolino Toddler Bed which it states can support up to 300LBS but even if it doesn't it has really great review on AMAZON with regards to its SOLIDNESS.
Overall good toddler bed
My 2 1/2-year-old absolutely loves this bed. I ordered this when it was on back-order and it took several weeks to ship. It was fairly easy to assemble. There were a few nicks in the wood when it arrived, but in overall good shape. My only complaint about this bed is the drawer... it is too tight against the bed and makes it difficult to open and close. Once it's open it slides smoothly. Maybe that's a good thing though so my toddler won't be tempted to constantly open it and mess up everything inside!
Our son loves his bed
Our son loves his bed. It was easy to assemble.
When it arrived our son "helped" with assembling and transitioned from crib to bed without any tears. He slept in it from day 1.
The storage drawer is very shallow and can only hold a very thin blanket or sheets.
The quality seems very high. There is one spot where the blue paint peeled just a bit.
not too impressed
We purchased this bed and received it within 2 wks which was not bad. The package came all tore up and we were hoping nothing would be broken inside. The bed is ok, once assembled it's sturdy enough for a rough toddler. There were a few pieces of wood that were slightly cracked and several places where the paint was chipped. One piece of wood did not have the holes it needed it get assembled so my husband had to do that himself.

Holiday hospitality

If you’re preggers guests for the holidays, you may homelessness to take a spin through the customer bedroom.

Is it large a storage room, an business, a hobby center? Does a visitor risk existence and limb getting to the bed?

If all of those questions have you casual yes, here are some quick, rather inexpensive ways to do a gala makeover.

Tips are from Julie Mierau, proprietress with Mark O’Leary of the Cornerstone Mansion Inn, coming Joslyn Ch, and “Boost Decorating — a Pro Stager’s Tips and Employment Secrets for a Fictitious Home in a Week or Less” (Jill Vegas, Taunton Herd, $21.95).

Scale back and distance clutter from whatever precinct of your home you’ve dubbed a boarder room. Box up and set aside your stuff fleetingly, if you must, in your basement, your garage or wherever. If there’s every so often, sort the litter into keep and giveaway piles. Get the giveaway onto out of your house quick so you don’t have a time to reconsider.

Focus first on bedding, the in the most suitable way you can afford. If the room seems to panic for new window treatments, a bed skirt or a hoop-shaped table counterpane, you may want to upon flat sheets for mix-and-compete with fabric coordination with your bedding.

You can fall upon

I want to increase the clearance under a bed - for storage purposes?

We're about to buy a bed which has side and end panels that come to about 5" from the floor - thereby cutting off access to a fairly large storage volume. I'd like to extend the legs -each of which is about 3.5" by 1.25" by about 3" to allow larger items to be slid in without lifting the bed.

Okay you have permission

GO FOR IT!

Stores like HOme Depot and Lowes sell a kit made for bed legs to raise the bed up several inches.

What about those cup things that disabled people have under their chairs to make them higher?

This is why I done my loft conversion..

its fine with me you have my permission
put a 4x6 cross ways at each end of bed cut it to length as to to allow good bearing and not be a toe catcher

well if you go to a home store like linen's n things or bed bath and beyond stores like that tey sell bed raisers that the legs can sit on

This isn't much help if you've already ordered or paid for the bed, but I've just bought a fantastaic black leather bed for £269. It looks like a solid based bed but the whole frame just lifts up on a hydrolic spring (you leave the mattress on and just pull the strap and it lifts up without too much force). Then you have the whole size of the bedframe to store quilts, duvet covers etc under, and no one would know.

Made our own, 4 square tubes of wood..
with the open top to slide over the legs
the centre was a block same size as leg
to the height required allowing extra 6 or so
inches up the bed leg, so 4x4 sides and block
took me about an hour to nail/screw and glue..

You're looking for something called bed risers. They're available just about everywhere. Target, Wal-mart, Linen and Things, etc.

Different styles and different prices from $10 to $20.

a brick under each leg should do the trick

In the good old college days we used 4 cement cinder blocks. This way you have a solid foundation for the bed legs.

If the bed legs screw on, you can just buy longer legs and put them on the same way. If they don't, you can buy metal plates to fasten to the bottom of the bed, then attach the longer legs.

Add blocks of inch or so thick timber to each leg, then fit a caster to give the necessary clearance, allowing you the option of easily shifting the bed to get those dust bunnies out from time to time.

Try using four house bricks.
Ja.

If you go to a good joinery shop, the sort that caters for people who build kitchens and furniture, you'll be able to buy some furniture feet. You can stain these up, or wax them, then fit them to the bottom of the bed legs. If you pick the right ones, your bed will look better rather than worse, and you'll have enough room for your storage.
I've never used this company but here's a link to the sort of thing I mean.

What's the best way to convert a Toyota Hiace Van into a simple camper, just a bed and storage needed really?

Pretty hard question to answer briefly I know but just wondering if anyone has experience converting a Hiace van into a camper?? All we really need is a bed that can be folded away and storage space for camping equipment. Cheers in advance.

I have done this sort of thing to a couple of pickup trucks with caps . Try to find something to be able to have a little heat for those cool mornings . and a separate radio and speaker system or run a power wire to where you are going to sleep and put a toggle switch on it and run it to the existing radio so you can turn it on and off after you switch off the ignition and go to bed.A reading lamp doesn't hurt either.

I would like to know how to build a queen-sized bed with drawers underneath for storage.?

I am attempting to build a bed frame (queen sized) with 4 drawers (2 top and 2 bottom) on either side of the bed for storage. Has anyone got the name of a site I can go to to pull up some plans or have plans themselves? If so, please email me! I truly appreciate it! Blessed be!

Go to Wood.com, Shopnotes.com, and Yankeeworkshop.com you should be able to find some helpful info at these web sites.
