I always end up hitting my shin on the edge of my bed frame. Does anyone know where I can get pads or bumpers?
The bed frame is low and the edges are quite sharp. My toes, knees and shins will be thankful for some type of pad or 'bumper' to go there. I did a yahoo and google search and all I could find were bed frame pads and bumpers for cribs. Any help?
There are bumpers that we used on coffee tables and the fireplace when the babies were learning to walk. I imagine they would work on your bed frame, too. Babies R Us or Target carries them...they are very soft and cover the sharp edges.

I assume you are referring to pads for adult / older child to protect the mattress from bed wetting. If this is the case - check with your hospitals or nursing homes & find out who they get theirs from.
I have a son that is handicapped & had to use these for many years. Our local hospital laundry service company actually gave me more than enough of these for my sons bed. They last forever & wash very well.

Where is the best place to buy a memory foam neck pillow or bed pad?
I went to Bed Bath and Beyond looking for memory foam pads and pillows for someone with back problems, but they were really expensive and I was wondering if there is a better place to look for this. I live in the average suburbs and I have all the typical stores and mall. I was thinking - department stores or a mattress store?

Get your self a nice brand new fish fillet knife, it works well with foam insulation and fiberglass insulation, I would think that it would work very well on your project also.
