Great bed, horrible shipping
You might be better off if you can go purchase this great little bed in person. Fed Ex decided to leave my package in the snow and mud on my neighbor's property, out in the open. Shame on them and I will not shop with an online merchant that uses Fed Ex again.

5 Star for the Price
We bought this for our 19 month old son who outgrew his mini crib. It took some time to put together but it was very straight forward and everything was labeled so it made it very easy. The who thing is pretty much pressboard so you won't want to get it wet for any prolonged period of time but given the price it is really well worth the purchase. It feels very sturdy and even came with felt feet to keep it from scratching our hardwood floor. That is rare to find these days and I usually buy felt for funriture to protect our floors, so a nice and appreciated touch that they included it.

South Shore Twin Bed
I love this bed (and more importantly my 3 year old is jazzed.) It's so cute and fairly easy to put together (well, my fiancé did it...but I didn't hear a lot of cursing, so I assume it wasn't horrible!)

The only thing I'd warn buyers about is that the handles on the drawers angle out and are pretty sharp. I nailed my shin on one of them when I wasn't paying attention.

Overall though, this was a great choice and quality purchase. I'd definitely recommend it & buy it again if I needed another.

Works great for visiting 2 year old
I bought this for my 2 year old grandson for when he visits. It really works well. He rolls around alot on a big bed, but moved very little in this bed. Since it sinks in slightly, it cradles him and keeps him from falling out. I laid a piece of sheepskin over it to make it softer. It also serves to keep him warm in the winter and cool in the summer, and is flame resistant. I also like the fact that it folds up so small.

Wow! Great product!!
I have twin boys (3 years old) and just purchased these for them for "sleep overs". They are well made, easy to set up and store anywhere! I did trim and use a foam mattress topper for added padding. The boys slept well and thought the cots were great!! Highly recommended.

Inexpensive sleepover solution for grandchild
We bought this when our toddler grandson decided he was too grown up for a crib. At home he sleeps in a toddler bed and we knew he'd resist going back into a crib when he occasionally sleeps over at our house. He's a restless sleeper and isn't quite ready to spend a night in a regular twin size bed. The Regalo cot is similar to the ones used at his day care. It sets up in less than a minute and is sturdy and long enough to accomodate him as he grows. It's low enough to the floor so that he can get on and off without assistance and he won't get hurt if he falls off.

We paired the cot with an inexpensive sleeping bag and when it's bedtime, we make it a "camping" adventure for him. Grandma likes the removable, washable cover that is supplied with it and the way the cot folds into its own bag for storage.

PROS: Compact, lightweight, sturdy, removable and washable cover; comes with a storage/carry bag. Easy to set up and take down. Great for travel and occasional sleepovers.

CONS: We haven't found any yet.

It does what it's supposed to
I had the full size version and recently bought a queen size mattress. As previously stated, the holes are off. to attach the lip, make sure you have a robertson (square) head bit, phillips just tear up the screws. I had the previous platform for 4 years now and no complaints.

An OK Purchase, Had issues with delivery
I went throught i 1 day hassle with the delivery of this product. I Ordered it from Amazon with Free super shaver shipping. Amazon shipped it via Fedex. The Product arrived exactly on the estimated delivery date, But...

My Apartment is in 3rd floor of my apartment building, There is no Lift. The fedex delivery person arrived at the front door (In Ground floor) of my apartment building, He DELIVERED it there and notified my wife in 3 rd floor, that the product has been delivered. As signature was not required, he updated on the tracking status as delivered! When my wife asked him to bring it to my apartment he said i cannot bring it up there in 3rd floor as it is too bulky (120 pounds). My wife asked him to bring some help and she said that we cannot take it upstairs. The term Home delivery means to the apartment (Not to the apartment building). The person just went away without any proper answer. I called to the fedex office and asked them to return it. I told them that we cannot carry it to our apartment, and it cannot lie in front of our apartment building front door for long. After complains, calls and all finally fedex arrenged for 2 people and carried the package to our apartment. But it was a big hassle!!

About the product, It looks good, and looks strong (Though time will tell). but assembling is not very easy to do. They should make the assembly instructions a bit more clear and easy to understand. I really got confused 2/3 times and had to use hit and try method to assemble.

Not impressed....learn from my mistake
I took a chance and made a decision as I had company coming for the holiday. The platform bed arrived via ONE VERY LARGE BOX and ONE VERY OVERWORKED UPS DRIVER. It was almost dark when I heard a loud noise outside so I went to the door and saw the UPS man trying with all his might to lift the large box off of his handtruck onto the porch. Of course, he had dropped it and the box had a large rip. It was heavy. I offered to help him lift it onto the porch but proceeded to just help him carry it in after I realized this was not something I could do alone. #1) It is heavy and all parts come in one box #2) In my case, not all parts were in the one box (maybe due to the tearing of the box) #3)There are pieces that do not have the covered molding (so it looks like pressed board in one section)

That is all I have to say. I would not buy if offered the chance to do so again. Not worth it. Go to a thrift store and spend the same money on a wooden frame and it will look much better.

Great so far!
Ordered a queen size one and got it in a timely matter. Great bedframe for the price! No splinters, very smooth wood, and seems quite sturdy. Pretty simple to assemble. It was the first furniture we'd ever ordered assembled ourselves, and we had minimal difficulty. Everything you use to build it is included. Don't need extra tools. Only tricky laying down the slats. We've been sleeping on the bed for a few days. It holds 400 lbs total fine. Also doesn't squeak much. It squeaks once when it adjusts to the new weight but then you could shake it and roll on it with no sounds at all. As for comfort, it feels pretty good. My husband used to always sleep on a boxspring and complained of some back pain without one. But I have no complaints. Good amount of space under the bed too.

nomad kingsize platform bed

Great Bed

Great bed for the price
I purchased this bed on a whim because I was in a quick fix for bedroom furniture. I had no idea that I would fall in love with it so quickly! It's very elegant and fits in with any bedroom decor. The frame itself is very easy to put together, and the simple bolts blend in with the frame so you don't see any connectors.

Even though I love this bed, there are a few things that should be mentioned. The bed itself does not come with a special frame for the bottom; this has to be purchased elsewhere. I read that in another review and put one on hold at the local furniture store. Because this is a canopy bed and not a regular frame, it has a special frame that has to be connected at the top and bottom. No big deal, even after buying the frame, the price for the entire ensemble was great.

Also, be careful not to push this bed too tightly against a wall. The black paint is a great finish, but if you're anything like me and like to JUMP into bed, it will rub the finish off on the walls.

Lastly, if you are buying a net or any type of material to go on the canopy itself, buy it before you put the bed together. It's less of a hassle than having to take it apart. The coverings that I used were similiar to curtains with the 'sleeve' along the top to run the poles though. I wound up having to take the poles down in order to put the coverings up.

With anything you buy, you are going to find small things that you didn't think of or expect. Even with these discoveries, I love this bed and would highly recommend it for all ages. It's shipped in a package small enough to fit in my car and it was light enough for me to carry up to my 2nd floor apartment by myself.

Be prepared! Get a Frame with brackets on top/bottom! Good Buy!
We bought this and had to get a bedframe that allowed us to connect the canopy to the bottom and top, so don't get an ajustable frame unless it has the rails. Otherwise it was pretty easy to put together and my 10 yr old loved it!

Great looking bed
The item arrived on time. It was in pretty good condition for the most part expect for a couple of slight bends in the headboard. I loved the way it looked once we assembled the whole bed (looks exactly as shown here in the picture). It is a great product for the price! Document explaining the items included and assembly instructions (which was vague BTW) was torn during transport making it hard to read. Including it along with the purchase order would have been better. Overall a neat looking bed! I would recommend it to anyone.

most petunias (depending on where you live) are sun-lovers. there are two types: annual petunias and perennial petunias.

the annual ones smell delicious, have a mounding/spreading habit, and usually flower until the first frost. the perennial ones are more sprawling, usually have no scent, and die back in winter but come back in spring.

as for color, the annuals are more easily hybridized and therefore have more color selection; they also come in double-blooming varities. perennials have less of a color selection, but are dependable for color year after year (they're also my favorites because you don't have to replace them every year).

remeber, it all depends on where you live, but that's a general overview. :)

My husband and I are going to buy a king bed. Our problem is that we have a very tight staircase and can't fit a proper king up the stairs. We heard that you can buy two extra long twin beds and put them together to make a king size bed. Someone told me they did the same thing and to buy this thing that you put between the two beds so that you don't feel the gap in the middle where the two mattresses join. I need to know what that things is called or where to get one. Thanks!

I have friends who had the same problem, they were able to fit the king sized mattress up the stairs by folding it around corners but for the box springs the stores sell them in 2 pieces so you can get them up the stairs.

To answer your question do aircraft have beds for pilots. Yes on long haul flight they do have beds know as crew rest and is a option on B-747 or B-777 as an example.

On the B-747-400 as an example crew rest is located above door 5 in he aft section. It affords privacy and quiet, with freedom from distractions and involves no loss of revenue seating in the passenger cabin. They also have upper deck crew rest on some models as an option.

On the B-777 located in the mid section lower deck is a module that can be added and flight crews take a ladder down to it from the main passenger cabin where the is severa beds and other gadgets for them to pass the time.

Remember on long flight the aircraft have two flight crews because of the flight limits pilots can be at the controls. So they swap out cockpit crews and some take a nap while the others are flying.

So remember not all aircraft have crew rest (beds) such as domestic aircraft.

We bought an old house and our queen bed won't fit through the stair well, and none of the windows are big enough to take apart to get it up there.
So, I know you can make a king size bed out of 2 beds but I can't remember if it's 2 twins or 2 doubles. And also I was wondering if I need or if they make something so the "crack" in the middle would be less noticeable. Thank you!

Two twins make a King. Two doubles make a California King.
I have a King sized mattress, but the company does not make a King size Box Spring so they sold us two twin size boxsprings instead and it fits perfect. If you put the two mattresses the long way it makes a sideways King size bed which is why some think it makes a shorter King size. Simply rotate the bed and you have a King.
